職責
(a)就語文教育及研究常務委員會(語常會)[參閱備註]推廣兩文三語的工作,協助制定具策略性的整體規劃,並把中國語文教育的元素發展為各項措施或計劃予以落實。進行上述工作時須參照語常會的意見,並考慮課程發展、學校環境、教師專業發展、研究趨勢、學生學習多樣性、以及勞動人口和公眾的語文程度等因素;
(b)參照語常會的意見,帶領及督導各項有關中國語文教育的項目、活動、香港語言景觀研究及其他研究計劃,包括策劃、發展、執行及檢討工作;
(c)帶領及督導編制有關中國語文教育事宜的委員會文件、評估報告及研究計劃並作匯報,且按需要與相關持份者溝通交流;
(d)帶領及督導由語文基金贊助、有關中國語文教育資源/教材的策劃及發展工作;
(e)就語常會中國語文教育活動及研究計劃提出專業意見及建議;
(f)督導有關組別的員工以執行上述工作;以及
(g)承擔指定的任何其他職責。

(a) To assist in directing the strategic and holistic planning of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) [See Remarks] in promoting biliteracy and trilingualism and translating elements of Chinese Language Education into initiatives or programmes for implementation. The above should be taken forward as directed by SCOLAR and with regard to the curriculum development, school settings, teachers' professional development, research trends, students' learning diversity, language proficiency of the workforce and the public, etc;
(b) To lead and supervise the planning, development, implementation and review of various projects, activities, language landscape studies of Hong Kong and other research studies related to Chinese Language Education as directed by SCOLAR;
(c) To lead and supervise the preparation and presentation of committee papers, evaluation reports and research studies related to Chinese Language Education matters and to liaise with stakeholders as appropriate;
(d) To lead and supervise the planning and development of resources/materials on Chinese Language Education sponsored by the Language Fund;
(e) To offer professional input to and advice on SCOLAR's Chinese Language Education activities and research studies;
(f) To supervise relevant teams of staff in taking forward the above; and
(g) To perform any other duties as assigned.

(c)符合語文能力要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩份語文試卷(中文運用及英文運用)中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等成績[參閱註(iii)];
(d)在取得上述(a)及(b)的學歷後,具備不少於12年在中國語文課題或教育的研究及課程發展經驗[參閱註(iv)];
(e)熟識語文教育的研究方法,了解現時本地及國際的中國語文教育趨勢;
(f)具備良好的英文及中文(包括普通話)能力、領導能力、人際技巧及項目管理能力;以及
(g)申請人若持有香港所頒授有關中國語文或中國語文教育的高等學位(如碩士或博士學位,或以研究為主的深造學位),或具備同等學歷,可獲優先考慮。

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree majoring in Chinese Language or Chinese Language Education, or equivalent [See Note (ii)];
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent, preferably majoring in Chinese Language or Chinese Language Education;
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of "Level 2" results in the two language paper [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note (iii)];
(d) At least 12 years' relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a) and (b)] experience in research and curriculum development, focusing on Chinese Language Studies or Education [See Note (iv)];
(e) Profound knowledge in language education research methodology and current trends in Chinese Language Education in both local and international settings;
(f) Good command of both English and Chinese (including Putonghua), leadership, interpersonal and project management skills; and
(g) Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Hong Kong higher degree (e.g. a Master or Doctoral degree, or a post-graduate research-oriented degree) relevant to Chinese Language or Chinese Language Education, or equivalent.

(iii)綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」,並以「二級」為最高等級。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績,或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績,或香港高級程度會考英語運用科「C」級或以上成績,或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level)English Language科「C」級或以上成績,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。申請人如在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上,並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績,在考試成績的兩年有效期內,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日有效。
(iv)申請人必須在申請表上註明其工作經驗的性質及與本職位的相關性。
(v)教育局會測試所有應徵課程主任職位人士的《基本法》知識。在《基本法》測試取得及格成績是課程主任職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。如申請人曾參加由公務員事務局舉辦為招聘公務員而設的《基本法》測試(學位╱專業程度職系)或由教育局舉辦的《基本法》測試,並在滿分100分中取得 53分或以上(即在15題中答對8題或以上),會被視為已符合相關要求。申請人在《基本法》測試的成績會佔其整體表現評分的一個適當比重。
(vi)申請人須處事盡責、積極主動、對工作有熱誠,並須品格良好,願意為教育界服務,作出承擔,以及能以中英文與人有效溝通。
