• (1)To formulate and implement the public relations plan aiming to promote the initiatives of the Sustainable Lantau Blueprint (including the initiatives on development and conservation) and to raise the public awareness of the importance of the sustainable Lantau development;
• (2)To organize public relations/engagement activities to promote sustainable Lantau development; (3)To prepare contents and to develop promotion and public relations materials including press releases, publications, online/social media materials, reports and newsletters;
• (4)To co-operate with government bureaux/departments, external organisations and other relevant parties on public relations activities to promote sustainable Lantau development;
• (5)To handle media/public enquiries on sustainable Lantau development; and
• (6)To undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior officers.

Candidates should - <br>

• (a)possess a recognised Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Journalism or other related disciplines;
• (b)have a minimum of six years’ relevant full-time post-qualification working experience in corporate communications, public relations, media management or event management; relevant work experience in the use of websites, digital and social media is an advantage;
• (c)have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ results in the two language papers

• (2)& (3)] ) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent,
• (d)have good writing skills in Chinese and English and fluent in spoken Cantonese and English; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage;
• (e)have good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills; and
• (g)be proficient in computer use, in particular Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
