• (a)To coordinate recruitment exercises to recruit young people and people of diverse race as CAS members;
• (b)To organise, coordinate and conduct a wide range of training and events for young people, people of diverse race and the local community, including training on flag-raising, footdrill, emergency preparedness and discipline;
• (c)To act as an CAS ambassador to the general public and the diverse race community, and assist in liaising with government departments, non-governmental organisations, local schools and commercial organisations for promoting the programmes of the Public Education Section;
• (d)To serve as a supervisor, trainer and/or mentor of the youth training activities and assist in preparing training materials; and
• (e)To assist in the management of quarantine centres, including the operational and logistical support duties as required.

Candidates should:

• (a)
  • (i)have Level 2 or equivalent

• (ii)have Level 2

• (b)have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2

• (c)have at least one year of full-time or two years of part-time working experience in civil defence or youth work or in carrying out outdoor activities; and
• (d)have good command of Cantonese and English.
