主要負責知識產權法律的相關工作，包括政策及法律研究，商標、專利及外觀設計的註冊，進行準司法聆訊和作出書面裁決，提供法律意見予政府，推廣公眾對知識產權的意識、保護和管理及知識產權的商品化。
職責
A Solicitor is mainly deployed on intellectual property legal work including policy and legal research, registration of trademarks, patents and designs, exercising quasi-judicial functions and handing down written decisions, providing civil legal advisory services to government departments and bureaux, and assisting in intellectual property public education work.
入職條件
申請人必須
- (a)
- (i)在香港或《律政人員條例》(第87章)第2A條及附表2所規定的任何一個認可司法管轄區內取得律師資格；或
- (ii)在香港或《律政人員條例》(第87章)第2A條及附表2所規定的任何一個認可司法管轄區內取得大律師資格和全面執業權後，具備一年專業經驗﹔以及
- (b)符合語文能力的要求，即在綜合招聘考試的英文運用試卷取得“二級”成績，以及在中文運用試卷取得“一級”成績，或同等成績(註1)。
Candidates should -
- (a)
- (i)be solicitor admitted in Hong Kong or a recognized jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance; or
- (ii)be barrister with at least one year professional experience since attaining the right to full practice in Hong Kong or a recognised jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance; and
- (b)have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ result in the Use of English (UE) paper and ‘Level 1’ result in the Use of Chinese (UC) paper in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent (Note 1).

- (1)綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為“二級”、“一級”或“不及格”，並以“二級”為最高等級。 政府在聘任公務員時，香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科C級或以上的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的二級成績。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科D級的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的一級成績。 香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科C級或以上成績；或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level) English Language科C級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科D級的成績；或GCE A Level English Language科D級成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的一級成績。 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日(即2021年10月8日至2021年10月29日)有效。

- (a)申請人須具備良好理解、分析、研究和撰寫技巧，並能夠清楚解釋複雜的問題及議題。
- (b)申請人如在知識產權法方面素有知識和經驗，可獲優先考慮。
