職責
(a) 參與發展中學英國語文教育課程，以及評鑑課程的推行情況；
(b) 協助策劃、籌辦及提供在職英文及英語文學教師專業發展課程，以協助推行英國語文教育課程和其他課程更新措施；
(c) 協助策劃和籌辦全港性語文活動及發展資源，包括製作和推廣有關學習英國語文和英語文學的教學資源及成功經驗，以支援課程推行；
(d) 參與舉辦和監察與課程創新有關的活動、計劃、研究和評鑑；
(e) 協助發展和推行英語相關的應用學習課程，包括但不限於職業英語、翻譯研究和創意英語；
(f) 評審英國語文課本及教材；
(g) 提供與科目有關的專業服務，以及參與教育局內部及/或外間與科目有關的委員會和專責小組的工作；
(h) 發展、推廣和推行提高語文水平的措施；
(i) 執行英國語文教育組日常運作有關的行政職務；以及
(j) 執行上司委派的其他職務。

(a) To take part in developing the English Language Education curriculum and evaluating its implementation at the secondary level;
(b) To assist in planning, organising and providing in-service professional development programmes for English Language and Literature in English teachers to facilitate the implementation of the English Language Education curriculum and other curriculum initiatives;
(c) To assist in planning and organising territory-wide language activities and developing resources to support curriculum implementation (including the production and dissemination of learning and teaching resource materials, and examples of good practices for English Language and Literature in English);
(d) To take part in conducting and monitoring curriculum innovation programmes, projects, research and evaluation;
(e) To facilitate the development and implementation of the English-related Applied Learning courses on but not limited to vocational English, translation studies and English for creative communication;
(f) To review English Language textbooks and learning materials;
(g) To provide subject-related professional services and to participate in subject-related committees and task groups within and/or outside the Education Bureau;
(h) To develop, promote and implement language enhancement measures;
(i) To perform administrative duties related to the day-to-day operation of the English Language Education Section; and
(j) To undertake any other duties assigned.

入職條件

(b) 持有香港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書，或具備同等學歷[參閱註(ii)]；
(c) 在取得上述(a)及(b)的學歷後，具備不少於6年的與英語教學及/或課程發展相關經驗[參閱(iv)]；
(d) 符合語文能力要求，即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷[中文運用及英文運用]中取得「二級」成績，或具備同等成績[參閱註(iii)]；
(e) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績[參閱註(v)]；
(f) 申請人如有1)香港所頒授有關英國語文、英語研究、英國文學、英國語文教育、翻譯或相關學科的碩士或博士學位[參閱註(ii)]及/或2)高中英國語文科和英語文學科教學及/或課程發展的相關經驗者優先；
(g) 了解本地教育制度和課程改革情況，以及現時本地和國際的英國語文教育趨勢；以及
(h) 具備良好的領導能力和人際技巧[參閱註(vi)]。

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree majoring in English Language, English Studies, English Literature, English Language Education or Translation, or equivalent [See Note (ii)];
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [See Note (ii)];
(c) At least 6 years' relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a) and (b)] experience in English teaching and/or curriculum development [See Note (iv)];
(d) Met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note (iii)];
(e) A pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test [See Note (v)];
(f) Preference will be given to candidates who have 1) a Hong Kong higher degree in English Language, English Studies, English Literature, English Language Education, Translation, or a related discipline [See Note (ii)], and/or 2) experience in the teaching and/or curriculum development of English Language and Literature in English at the senior secondary level;
(g) Good knowledge of the local education system and the curriculum reform as well as current trends in English Language education in both local and international settings; and
(h) Good leadership and interpersonal skills [See Note (vi)].

入職條件(註)

(ii) 申請人須在申請表上清楚註明所修讀學位課程的主修和副修科目。申請人如有其他學歷(例如有關科目的碩士或博士學位)，亦須一併在申請表上列明。
(iii) 綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) English Language科「C」級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日有效。
(iv) 申請人須述明於取得有關學歷後所具備的相關工作經驗及性質。
(v) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是教育局課程主任職位的入職條件。《基本法及香港國安法》測試會考核申請人的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。
