職責
合約助理館長主要負責(a)香港懲教博物館、社區教育體驗館及博物館紀念品店的日常運作，包括提供導賞服務；(b)定期更新博物館各展覽室及社區教育體驗館；(c)管理博物館內所有展品；(d)舉辦各項活動以推廣香港懲教歷史；(e)安排學校及其他團體參觀博物館並處理相關事宜；(f) 監督和確保博物館工作人員有效地執行日常運作職責; 及(g)執行相關的行政工作及上級人員委派的其他職務。

A Contract Assistant Curator is mainly deployed to (a) handle the daily operation of Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum (the Museum), the Community Education Experience Centre and Museum Souvenir Shop, including provision of docent services; (b) regularly update galleries of the Museum and Community Education Experience Centre; (c) manage all the exhibits of the Museum; (d) organize activities in promoting Hong Kong Correctional Services history; (e) arrange visits for schools and other organizations to the Museum and handle other related matters; (f) supervise and ensure museum staff carry out their daily operational responsibilities effectively; and (g) perform relevant administrative work and other duties as assigned by senior officers.
(Note: The appointee may be required to work outdoors, on shifts, on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.)

(a) 持有由香港任何一所大學所頒授的考古學、歷史學、博物館學、文化研究或人類學學士學位，或具備同等學歷[附註(a)]；
(b) 在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷（中文運用及英文運用）中取得二級成績，或具同等成績[入職條件註(i)和(ii)]；及
(c) 能操流利粵語、普通話及英語。
曾在博物館或相關工作場所任職的經驗者優先。

(a) a bachelor’s degree majoring in Archeology, History, Museum studies, Cultural studies or Anthropology from a Hong Kong university [General Notes (a)], or equivalent; and
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 results in the two language papers of Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [Notes (i) to (ii) under Entry Requirements]; and
(c) a good command of Cantonese, Putonghua and spoken English.
Candidates with work experience in museum or related setting are preferred.
