- (a)領導、策劃、籌備及進行教學語言重點視學；
- (b)為透過教學語言重點視學確定在主要範疇須作出改善的學校策劃、統籌及提供視學後支援服務，包括分析支援需要、籌備及作出跟進視學， 以及制訂、推行和檢討支援計劃；
- (c)按需要協助進行其他形式視學工作；
- (d)協助進行多種有關教學語言重點視學的其他工作，包括；
- (i)改善視學工具；
- (ii)就教學語言重點視學的主要結果編製每年報告；及
- (iii)就有關支援學校改善在初中年級以英語作為教學語言的事宜，與教育局相關分組／分部及外間專業團體聯繫；以及
- (e)執行督導人員指派的行政和其他職務，包括指導及督導合約支援主任。

職責
- (a)To lead, plan, organise and conduct MOI focus inspection;
- (b)To plan, coordinate and provide post-inspection support services, including analysing support needs, organising and paying follow-up visits, developing, implementing and reviewing support programmes, for schools where major areas for improvement have been identified through MOI focus inspection;
- (c)To assist in other forms of inspections as may be required;
- (d)To render assistance in a range of other tasks related to MOI focus inspection, including:
- (i)refining inspection tools;
- (ii)compiling the annual report on key findings of MOI focus inspection; and
- (iii)liaising with relevant sections/divisions in the Bureau and with outside professional bodies on matters relating to the provision of support for schools to improve the use of English as the MOI at the junior secondary level; and
- (e)To perform administrative and other duties as assigned by supervising officers, including giving guidance to, and supervising, Contract Support Officers.
入職條件
- (a)持有本港頒授的相關學科的學士學位或以上，或同等學歷；
- (b)持有本港專上教育機構頒授的教育證書，或同等學歷；
- (c)在香港中學會考中國語文科達第2等級或以上和英國語文科達第3等級或以上[參閱註1]，或同等學歷；
- (d)於取得上述學歷資格後，具備最少10年視學／在中學以英語教授相關科目(作為科目主任或副校長可獲優先考慮) ／在大專院校任教的經驗；以及
- (e)如具備舉辦與推動跨課程語文學習有關的教師專業發展課程的經驗，可獲優先考慮。
- (a)A Hong Kong bachelor's degree or above in relevant subjects or equivalent;
- (b)A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution or equivalent;
- (c)Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and Level 3 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination [See Note 1], or equivalent;
- (d)At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in school inspection/teaching relevant subjects in secondary school using English as the medium of instruction (preferably as a subject panel chairperson or vice principal)/teaching in a tertiary institution; and
- (e)Experience in organising professional development programmes for teachers on promoting language learning across the curriculum will be an advantage.

- (i)過往香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級的成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或以後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3等級和第2等級的成績。
