職責
(a) 帶領及督導外籍英語敎師組的教學諮詢小組屬下的電子學習計劃發展小組,制定、推行及檢視外籍英語敎師組的電子平台與電子教學資源的發展和應用策略,並在本地公營學校推廣電子學習,工作包括:
i. 設計發展方案,並與教育局內外有關組別/機構緊密合作,支援外籍英語敎師組發展電子平台與電子教學資源;
ii. 運用最新的內容管理系統及相關科技以支援上述電子平台的發展,藉以提供各種多媒體資源,以進一步推展外籍英語敎師組的校本支援服務;
iii. 支援上述電子教學資源的發展,包括小學英語識字計劃-閱讀及寫作 (PLP-R/W) 的電子書應用程式、教學單元、教師手冊,以及其他由外籍英語敎師組所設計和建議的教學資料;
iv. 為計劃的財政預算提出建議,並監察計劃的發展過程,以確保上述電子資源及電子平台的質素;
v. 帶領發展其他電子教學資源;
vi. 為此電子學習計劃、電子資源平台與電子教學資源的開發和管理,進行持續檢視。
(b) 協助外籍英語敎師組總課程發展主任制定發展計劃和執行管理工作;
(c) 設計、統籌及進行對外與內部專業培訓,提升前線敎師和外籍英語敎師組成員的專業能力,以能順利推展以上 (a) 項所列出的工作;以及
(d) 如有需要,按敎育局局長或其指定人員的要求,執行與為「 以英語為母語的英語敎師」計劃有關的其他職務。
(a) To lead and supervise an e-Learning Project Development Team, under the Advisory Teaching Team of the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) Section, tasked with formulating, implementing and reviewing strategies for the development and application of the Section's e-platform and e-resources to promote e-learning in local public sector schools, including:
i. to design development plans and liaise with relevant parties within and outside the EDB to facilitate the development of the Section's e-platform and e-resources;
ii. to support the development of the said e-platform with the use of the latest content management system and related technology to provide easy access to a range of multi-media resources to promote and facilitate the delivery of the Section's school support services;
iii. to support the development of the said e-resources, including e-book apps for Primary Literacy Programme – Reading & Writing (PLP-R/W) titles, Units of Work, Teacher Manual and resources developed and recommended by the NET Section;
iv. to advise on budget setting and monitor the quality of the above-listed e-resources and e-platform in the development process;
v. to lead the development of other e-resources; and
vi. to conduct ongoing review of the NET Section's e-learning initiatives, the development and management of the NET Section's e-resource platform and e-resources.
(b) To assist the Chief Curriculum Development Officer of the NET Section in Section development planning and management;
(c) To design, coordinate and conduct internal and external capacity building sessions for professional officers in the NET Section and frontline teachers to support the implementation of the tasks listed in (a); and
(d) To perform any other duties related to the NET Scheme as and when required by the Secretary for Education or such officers as the Secretary may nominate.
入職條件
應徵者須以英語為母語#,或具備操英語為母語的能力,並:
(a) 持有本港大學所頒授的學士學位,主修英國語文為佳,或具備同等學歷;
(b) 持有學位教師教育文憑或等同學歷;
(c) 具備教授英語作為外語或第二語言的資歷,達證書程度為佳;
(d) 持有教育碩士學位者為佳;
(e) 在取得學位後具備不少於十年於語文教育的相關工作經驗,其中最少有一年負責學校、科組或計劃管理有關推廣電子學習的工作;
(f) 具備英國語文教育課程發展經驗為佳;
(g) 具備設計、統籌及推展教師專業培訓工作者可獲優先考慮;以及
(h) 擁有領導及統籌英國語文學習計劃發展工作的經驗可獲優先考慮。
#以英語為母語的人士是指自幼年時期已學到英語,並於青少年至成年期間在以英語為第一語言的社區內成長。具備以英語為母語的能力是指書面或口語溝通時能夠自然及流利地使用英語,正確地運用文法,並能表達創意。
非以英語為母語的人士是指非自幼年時期已學到英語,但其使用英語之能力在流暢度,準確性及創意方面均能與以英語為母語之人士無異,他們亦可獲聘為電子學習計劃經理 (外籍英語敎師)。

Applicants should be native speakers of English or have native-speaker English competence#, and should possess:
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, preferably majoring in English, or equivalent;
(b) A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGDE), or equivalent;
(c) Qualifications for the Teaching of English as a Foreign/Second Language (TEFL/TESL) at least at certificate level are preferred;
(d) a Master's degree in education is preferred;
(e) At least 10 years' post-degree relevant work experience in language education, of which at least 1 year of experience deals with school, panel or project management related to promotion of e-learning;
(f) Experience in curriculum development in English Language Education is an advantage;
(g) Experience in designing, coordinating and conducting teacher professional development programmes is preferred; and
(h) Experience in leading and coordinating literacy programme development is preferred.
# Native speakers of English are people who acquire the language in infancy and develop the language through adolescence and adulthood within a community where English is spoken as the first language. Native-speaker English competence refers to the ability to use English fluently and spontaneously, to give grammatically accurate responses in communication and to write or speak creatively.
Non-native speakers of English, i.e. people who have not acquired the language since early childhood, are also suitable for employment if their English competence is not different from that of native speakers in terms of fluency, accuracy and creativity in language use.
