• (a)To assist in the coordination and liaison work for mental health related committee work;
• (b)To assist in handling public relations matters by arranging briefings, meetings, sharing sessions, etc. in relation to mental health matters;
• (c)To assist in planning and following up the planning and production of documentary and publicity work relating to mental health services;
• (d)To assist in engaging with relevant stakeholders on the implementation of the recommendations of strategic review on healthcare manpower planning and professional development and provide secretariat and logistics support to the next round of review and healthcare manpower projections;
• (e)To assist in providing logistics support to any other meetings/events/projects, vetting draft reports, papers, PowerPoint files, etc., to collate information and compile statistics;
• (f)To assist in monitoring the website for the Healthcare Planning and Development Office, handle incoming correspondences, and prepare returns relating to mental health and the strategic review; and
• (g)To perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Candidates should possess –

• (a)a bachelor degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
• (b)at least three years’ full time post-degree working experience of which two years related to mental health and/or public health policy; preference will be given to candidates who have working experience in the public sector;
• (c)a minimum of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent (Note); and
• (d)sound knowledge of the manpower requirements of various healthcare professions and mental health services in Hong Kong.
