職責
(a) 進行實地勘察、園境評估和樹木評估；
(b) 就園境、綠化和保護樹木事宜提供意見；
(c) 就有關規劃的申請／發展建議／可行性研究，提供園境方面的建議／意見；
(d) 進行園境規劃及擬備園境設計／圖則；以及
(e) 就環境影響評估報告提供園境方面的建議／意見。

入職條件
申請人必須 –
(a) 持有園林建築學學位或具有香港園境師學會認為符合參加該會專業資格考試所定學歷要求的資格，或具同等資格；
(b) 在取得學歷資格後，具備最少兩年的實習培訓及╱或工作經驗，以符合香港園境師學會專業考試的培訓要求[請參閱註(i)]；
(c) 在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科取得第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績 [請參閱註(ii)] ;以及
(d) 操流利粵語和英語。

Candidates should -
(a) have a degree in Landscape Architecture or a qualification which is acceptable to the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA) as satisfying the academic requirements for admission into the HKILA Professional Practice Examination, or equivalent;
(b) have at least two years’ post-academic qualification practical training and/or experience satisfying the training requirements for admission into the HKILA Professional Practice Examination [See Note (i)];
(c) have attained Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (ii)]; and
(d) speak fluent Cantonese and English.

(i)申請人須付上履歷，詳列所持有的學歷及過往工作經驗並曾任職位的職務。(ii)政府在聘任非公務員合約僱員時，過往香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級的成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年及往後舉行的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2等級的成績。
