職責
(a) 管理制定生物性營養物指標／準則的顧問研究及提供相關專業意見；
(b) 就制定生物性營養物指標／準則的顧問研究與內外各方包括海外學術界聯絡；
(c) 就審查和評估外界提交有關生物性營養物指標／準則、紅潮、有害藻華、水體富養化、超養化等的研究計劃提供專業意見，並解答相關諮詢；
(d) 就生物性營養物指標／準則、超養化、紅潮、浮游植物分類和水質管理方面分享經驗及為環境學院擔任導師；
(e) 執行上司指派的其他相關職務。
其他相關的工作要求： (a)工作時間及地點須視乎部門的運作需要而定。獲錄用者或需不定時及超時工作，包括在晚上、周末和公眾假期工作。(b) 每星期的工作時數會按部門運作需要而定，但每星期不會多於17.5小時。合約期內之任何特定期間並沒有最低工作時數的保證。

(a) To manage and provide professional and expert advice on the consultancy study on the development of bio-nutrients indicators/ criteria;
(b) To liaise with both internal and external parties including overseas academic professionals regarding the consultancy study on the development of bio-nutrients indicators/ criteria;
(c) To provide professional and expert input on the review and assessment of external research proposals and addressing enquiries in relation to bio-nutrient indicators/ criteria, red tides, harmful algal blooms occurrence, nutrient enrichment, eutrophication, etc.;
(d) To provide experience sharing on bio-nutrients indicators/ criteria, eutrophication, red tides, phytoplankton taxonomy, water quality management as well as for the Environmental Academy training modules;
(e) To undertake any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Other Job-related Requirements: (a) The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to (i) work during irregular hours and overtime, including evenings, weekends and public holidays; and (ii) work occasionally outdoors. (b) The number of working hours is subject to the operational needs but will not exceed 17.5 hours per week. There is no guarantee on the minimum number of hours of work in any given period.

申請人必須－
(a) 持有本港大學頒授的相關自然科學學士學位並主修水生生物學、海洋或淡水生態學、環境化學、生態毒理學、海洋學或水文學，或同等學歷；
(b) 在取得有關學歷後，在水生生物、超養化、浮游植物分類及統計分析水質監察數據和生物數據方面具備至少十年相關全職工作經驗；
(c) 具備良好中英文書寫及會話能力；以及
(d) 具備良好溝通技巧。

Applicants should have –
(a) a Hong Kong Bachelor’s Degree in a natural science subject with major in aquatic biology, marine or freshwater ecology, environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology, oceanography or hydrology, or equivalent;
(b) at least ten years’ full time relevant post-qualification working experience in aquatic biology, eutrophication, phytoplankton taxonomy, as well as statistical analyses of water quality monitoring data and biological data;
(c) good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
(d) good communication skills.
