(a) To undertake research and prepare research papers on education policies;
(b) To draft speeches, articles and the content of other publicity materials;
(c) To liaise with Government bureaux/ departments, community organisations and other stakeholders;
(d) To draft replies to public enquiries; and
(e) To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors; and
(f) Work on irregular hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends, may be required. The actual hours of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of this Bureau.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent, preferably in education, public administration or other related disciplines;
(b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent (see Note);
(c) Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English;
(d) Have at least six years of full-time post-qualification work experience, including at least four years of writing experience in the area of education or public policies with good track records;
(e) Possess excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills, self-motivation, ability to work independently and responsibly; have effective research skills, including the use of online resources; experience in writing up research reports preferred; and
(f) Have good understanding of the education policy, government system and community affairs; experience in liaising with education and community organisations; as well as knowledge in photography, graphic design and video editing software preferred.
