(a) Support the Head of Business and Talent Attraction / Investment Promotion in the US and InvestHK I&T team in Hong Kong in implementing an investment strategy and business plan to attract I&T companies, financial investors, entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerators, research institutions and I&T related entities from their respective geographic markets to set up and/or expand in Hong Kong and to promote Hong Kong as an international I&T hub;
(b) Work together with InvestHK's head office and overseas network, relevant bureau/departments and other public organisations including Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), Cyberport, Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), universities and research institutions and relevant industrial organisations to conduct investment promotion and marketing activities to attract and retain companies in the I&T sector;
(c) Respond promptly to enquiries from potential investors in the I&T sector by providing market information and advice to support their decision in setting up businesses in Hong Kong;
(d) Provide US and Canada I&T companies with assistance in setting up/expanding businesses in Hong Kong and to provide aftercare services;
(e) Prepare briefs, presentations and undertake research initiatives in the targeted I&T verticals and related sub-sectors;
(f) Build a strong network and a close working relationship with the I&T sector and with key stakeholders in the startup, technology and business community in the US and Canada through conducting outreach work, and supporting and attending relevant events;
(g) Collect and analyse market intelligence and provide input to improve Hong Kong's competitiveness and attractiveness as an international I&T hub;
(h) Carry out administrative work and resource management within the budget allocated;
(i) Maintain proper records of the contacts and leads generated as well as the aforementioned activities via various means including CRM, emails and file record; and
(j) Carry out other duties as assigned by management.

(a) A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in science and engineering disciplines related to biomedical technology, information and communications technology, artificial intelligence, data sciences, microelectronics, robotics, new energy and advanced manufacturing. A higher degree in business management would be an advantage;
(b) A minimum of three years of full-time work experience in account management, business development, consulting, project management, research and development and/or sales and marketing in the I&T related fields;
(c) Good knowledge of and experience in the I&T sector and the startup ecosystem in the US and Canada. Investment promotion or economic development experience would be an advantage;
(d) Good networks within the US's and Canada's I&T sector and the startup ecosystem;
(e) Experience of living and/or doing business in Hong Kong would be an advantage;
(f) Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in other languages such as Chinese, French and Spanish is an advantage;
(g) Willing to travel in the US and Canada; and
(h) Candidate must be eligible to take up employment in the US.
