職責
助理教育主任（經濟）主要負責在懲教設施內執行高中及以下程度的教學工作，以及執行與教育相關的行政工作及多元化的專業職務。
獲取錄的申請人或須任教由懲教署安排的任何科目。

An Assistant Education Officer (Economics) is mainly deployed on taking up teaching duties up to senior secondary level in correctional facilities and undertaking education-related administrative work and diversified professional duties.
A successful candidate may be required to teach any subjects assigned by the Correctional Services Department.

入職條件
申請人必須(a)持有香港頒授的相關科目的學士學位，或具備同等學歷；及(b) 持有由香港專上教育機構頒授的學位教師教育證書／學位教師教育文憑（中學教育），或具備同等學歷；或持有由前教育學院或前香港教育學院頒授的教師證書（中學教育），或具備同等學歷 [註(a)至(b)及附註(a)]；及(c)符合語文能力要求，即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷（中文運用及英文運用）均取得「一級」成績，或具備同等成績[入職條件註(2)至(4)]；及(d)能操流利粵語及英語；以及(e)在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績[入職條件註(5)]。
入職條件註：
(1) 頂薪點的資料只供參考，該項資料日後或會作出更改。申請人若持有由香港專上教育機構頒授的學位教師教育證書／學位教師教育文憑（中學教育），或具備同等學歷；或持有由前教育學院或前香港教育學院頒授的教師證書（中學教育），或具備同等學歷，如獲聘用，其入職薪級為總薪級表第17點。
(2) 綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。
(3) 政府在聘任公務員時，香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科C級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科D級成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「一級」成績。
(4) 香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科C級或以上成績；或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level) English Language 科C級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績；香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科D級成績；或GCE A Level English Language 科D級成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「一級」成績。在International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，其IELTS成績可獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。IELTS 考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日仍然有效。
(5) 政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。

Candidates should (a) have a Hong Kong bachelor's degree majoring in the relevant subject discipline, or equivalent; and (b) a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) / Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in secondary education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent; or a teacher's certificate in secondary education awarded by the former Colleges of Education or the former Hong Kong Institute of Education, or equivalent [Notes (a) - (b) and General Note (a)]; and (c) have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 1’ results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [Notes (2) – (4) under Entry Requirements]; and (d) be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English; and (e) have a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test [Note (5) under Entry Requirements].

(1) The information on the maximum pay point is for reference only and may be subject to changes. Applicants with a PGCE / PGDE in secondary education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent; or a teacher's certificate in secondary education awarded by the former Colleges of Education or the former Hong Kong Institute of Education, or equivalent, will enter at MPS Point 17.
(2) The results of the UC and UE papers in the CRE are classified as ‘Level 2’, ‘Level 1’ or ‘Fail’, with ‘Level 2’ being the highest.
(3) For civil service appointment purpose, Level 5 or above in Chinese Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE); or Grade C or above in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE), are accepted as equivalent to ‘Level 2’ in the UC paper of the CRE. Level 4 in Chinese Language of the HKDSEE; or Grade D in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature of the HKALE, are accepted as equivalent to ‘Level 1’ in the UC paper of the CRE.
(4) Level 5 or above in English Language of the HKDSEE; or Grade C or above in Use of English of the HKALE; or Grade C or above in English Language of the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level), are accepted as equivalent to ‘Level 2’ in the UE paper of the CRE. Level 4 in English Language of the HKDSEE; or Grade D in Use of English of the HKALE; or Grade D in English Language of the GCE A Level, are accepted as equivalent to ‘Level 1’ in the UE paper of the CRE. Candidates with an overall band of 6.5 or above with no subtest score below band 6 obtained in the same sitting in the Academic Module of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) within the two-year validity period of the test result is accepted as equivalent to ‘Level 2’ in the UE paper of the CRE. The IELTS test result must be valid on any date during the application period.
(5) All applicants for civil service jobs will be assessed on their knowledge of the Basic Law and the National Security Law. A pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test is an entry requirement for all civil service jobs. Only those candidates who have passed the Basic Law and National Security Law Test will be considered for appointment. For candidates who have not taken the relevant Basic Law and National Security Law Test or have not attained a pass result in the relevant Basic Law and National Security Law Test at the time of application, they may still apply for the job and arrangements will be made for them to take the relevant Basic Law and National Security Law Test during the recruitment process.

(ii) 現時為下一屆畢業的研究生並預計可於二零二六年夏季或之前取得由香港專上教育機構頒授的學位教師教育證書／學位教師教育文憑（中學教育），或同等學歷。惟申請人必須分別在二零二五至二六學年內取得所需學歷資格，才會獲聘任。
(b) 上述註(a)項的申請人須在申請書及補充資料表格[SIF (Rev. 4/2025)]上清楚註明將會獲取的相關學歷或資格和預計獲取日期，並須在本署訂定的限期前提交相關文件，例如證明信函、證書及成績單等，以證明其在上述期間取得所需學歷或資格以及符合入職條件，否則本署將不再處理其申請。
(c) 不論以何種方法遞交申請，申請人務須注意及遵從（如適用）下列各項：
(i) 申請人須在申請書上清楚註明其修讀學位課程及師資培訓課程時主修及副修的科目。
(ii) 為避免郵件過期或未能成功派遞，在投寄前請確保信封面已清楚寫上正確地址及已貼上足夠郵資。所有郵資不足的郵件將不會派遞至本署並會由香港郵政按情況退還寄件人或銷毀。申請人須自行承擔因未有支付足夠郵資而引致的任何後果。
(iii) 持有香港以外學術機構所頒授學歷的申請人，須隨申請書夾附有關學術機構所簽發的文憑／證書、成績單及列明有關課程的授課形式（例如全日制／兼讀制、在當地院校上課／遙距授課等）的證明文件副本。申請人也應盡可能提供所有其他有關的學歷證明文件副本，以便進行學歷評審的工作。持有本地學歷的申請人，則須夾附列明其修讀學位及師資培訓課程時主修及副修科目的證明文件副本。
