職責
(1) 推廣於民事案件中採取法庭訴訟以外的方式解決爭議;
(2) 為爭議各方進行調解前諮詢和深入會面環節,以便因應爭議性質而評估他們是否適合進行調解;如情況合適,安排適當個案轉介予認可調解員及其他支援服務;並及於調解過程中提供所需協助;
(3) 與各志願團體和法定機構、專職調解的私人執業人員及法律業界保持聯繫;
(4) 協助總司法行政主任(調解事務)就調解事宜進行研究及擬備文件、演詞、諮詢文件和宣傳資料;
(5) 協助總司法行政主任(調解事務)推行調解計劃,並於所選定的合適地點(包括新的區域法院綜合大樓)設立綜合調解辦事處及/或排解糾紛辦事處;
(6) 管理綜合調解辦事處的運作,並監督組內的下屬員工;以及
(7) 必要時代理總司法行政主任(調解事務)的職務,及履行不時由上級指派的其他相關職務。

(1) To promote the settlement of civil disputes by a means other than litigation in court;
(2) To conduct pre-mediation consultations and enhanced intake sessions for disputing parties to make assessment of their suitability for mediation having regard to the nature of the disputes and, where appropriate, make suitable referrals to accredited mediators and other support services, and provide facilitation services as necessary in the course of mediation;
(3) To maintain liaison with voluntary and statutory organisations, private practitioners specialising in mediations and the legal profession;
(4) To assist the Chief Judiciary Executive (Mediation Affairs) (CJE(MA)) in conducting researches and preparing documents, speeches, papers and promotional materials on mediation;
(5) To assist the CJE(MA) in implementing mediation schemes and setting up the Integrated Mediation Office and/or dispute resolution related office(s) in venues as suitably identified including the new District Court Complex;
(6) To oversee the Integrated Mediation Office’s operation and supervise the subordinate staff in the team; and
(7) To deputise the CJE(MA) when necessary and undertake other relevant duties as assigned by the seniors from time to time.

(b) 在取得 (a) 項的資格後,具備最少十年上述範疇的工作經驗;
(c) 已成為香港調解資歷評審協會有限公司認可的綜合調解員或家事調解員;
(d) 符合語文能力要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷 [中文運用及英文運用] 中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等成績(註1);
(e) 具備良好中、英文書寫能力,並能操流利粵語及英語;
(f) 具有極佳的人際及溝通技巧和公開演說能力;以及
(g) 積極主動,並具備良好的研究技巧。

(a) have a bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent, in social work / psychology / counselling / law or a higher degree or post-graduate diploma in social work / psychology / counselling / law from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
(b) have at least 10 years’ post-qualification working experience in the above fields;
(c) have been accredited as a family mediator or a general mediator as required by the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL);
(d) have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent (Note 1);
(e) have good command of both written Chinese and English and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English;
(f) have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as presentation skills; and
(g) be self-motivated and have effective research skills.

註1:綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」,並以「二級」為最高等級。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level) English Language科「C」級或以上成績,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上,並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績,在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內(即由2023年2月24日至2023年3月10日)其中任何一日有效。
