(a) To assist in the development of school-based support services; and assist in the planning, organizing and monitoring the implementation of funding to schools; (b) To provide professional consultation on the delivery of speech therapy service in ordinary schools; (c) To plan, organize and develop professional development programmes for school-based speech therapists and teachers for better collaboration and support to students; (d) To develop curriculum-based resource packages for students, schools, parents and school-based speech therapists; (e) To assist in research projects related to the enhancement of speech and language skills of students with speech and language impairment (SLI), hearing impairment (HI), or other special education needs (SEN); (f) To assist in planning, development and implementation of support services for students with SLI; and (g) To perform any other duties as required.

(a) A degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences recognized for professional practice from a local university, or equivalent; (b) Post-degree qualification in Education / Linguistics / Speech and Language Sciences from a local university, or equivalent will be an advantage; (c) Level 2 [Note 1] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and (d) 4 years' or above relevant post-degree experience with at least 2 year school-based experience [Note 2].
