Reporting to the Head, Investment Promotion Unit at the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in San Francisco, the Senior Manager, Investment Promotion will be responsible for identifying, attracting and servicing companies evaluating or planning to set up or expand in Hong Kong by carrying out investment promotion activities and providing practical assistance to potential investors from the western U.S. region.Please visit www.hketosf.gov.hk or www.investhk.gov.hk for the detailed job description.

(a) A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or International Marketing. A higher degree would be an advantage; (b) Minimum three years of international marketing and/or business development experience*, preferably in foreign direct investment promotion or economic development. Preference would be given to those candidates with five years of relevant experience, or more; (c) Excellent presentation and communication skills in English. High proficiency in Spanish would be an advantage; (d) Broad knowledge of the U.S. and Invest Hong Kong’s sectors; and relevant working experience in the U.S. are important; (e) Experience of living and/or doing business in Hong Kong would be an asset; a (f) Should be eligible to take up employment in the U.S. * The selected candidate with more than three years of relevant experience may be appointed at a higher entry salary point.
