一級工人的主要職責為－ <br>(a)車輛管理科：(i)清潔、清洗車輛和為車輛打蠟，過程中可能須操作簡單機器；以及(ii)執行一般的清潔及體力勞動工作。 <br>(b)印務科：(i)管理出入稿件記錄和協助製版工作；(ii)操作數碼印刷器材以執行簡單的印刷工作；(iii)操作簡單的釘裝器材，以及執行簡單的手工類釘裝工作；(iv)將印刷品包裝、加上標貼、搬運、裝載和整理分類；(v)檢查印刷品有沒有出現任何問題，例如編碼次序或印刷品上的瑕疵、核數編號的表格和收據等；以及(vi)記錄裝卸區內的貨物調動和搬運貨物等。 <br> <br>如有需要，一級工人須接受部門內部或部門間的職位調派安排，以填補同一職系的職位空缺和擔任同一職系下不同種類的職務。一級工人須輪班工作、在有需要時逾時工作以及穿著制服。
職責
A Workman I is mainly deployed on - <br>
- (a)Land Transport Division: <br>
- (i)cleaning, washing and waxing of vehicles which may involve the use of simple machines; and
- (ii)undertaking general cleansing and labouring duties. <br>
- (b)Printing Division: <br>
- (i)maintaining a proof registry and assisting in platemaking work;
- (ii)performing simple printing work using digital printing equipment;
- (iii)operating simple binding equipment and performing simple hand binding work;
- (iv)packing, labeling, moving, loading and sorting of printed matters;
- (v)checking accuracy of printed matters such as numbering sequence or print defects, audit number forms and receipts; and
- (vi)documenting the movement and maneuvering of goods in the Loading Bay. <br> <br>In addition, Workmen I are subject to posting and transfer within the department or in other bureaux/departments to fill vacancies and carry out different duties in the same grade when the need arises. Workmen I are required to work shifts and, when necessary, perform overtime work and wear uniform.
入職條件
申請人必須 (a)具備三年與一般體力勞動工作（包括清潔）或簡單印刷工作相關的工作經驗；以及
- (b)能以粵語／中文和簡單英語溝通，能閱讀簡單中文和簡單英文，並能書寫簡單中文或簡單英文。
Candidates should
- (a)have 3 years’ relevant experience in general labour work involving cleansing or simple printing duties; and
- (b)be able to communicate in Cantonese/Chinese and simple English; read simple Chinese and simple English; and write simple Chinese or simple English.

- 1.申請人須通過相關的技能測試。 <br>2. 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。只會在兩位申請人的整體表現相若時，政府才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中的表現。
