應徵者須具以下條件： <甲類> (a) 持有本港頒授的學士學位，主修英國語文為佳，或具備同等學歷； (b) 持有學位敎師敎育文憑，或具備敎授英語作為外語或第二語言的碩士學歷，或具備同等學歷； (c) 在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考，英國語文科考獲第3級[註]或以上，或具備同等成績； (d) 具備最少六年小學英文科教學經驗； (e) 具備最少三年在香港小學及/或中學發展和實踐語文學習計劃； (f) 具備最少三年設計和舉辦敎師專業發展活動予本地英文科教師和「英語教師」的經驗； (g) 具備計劃評估的經驗及相關的實用知識去運用電腦程式開發數據庫，以完善敎師專業發展活動策劃及評估工作； (h)具備領導課程發展計劃經驗者可獲優先考慮； (i) 擁有良好英語會話及書寫能力； (j) 擁有在壓力下工作的良好能力； (k) 掌握科技運用的最新趨勢及廣泛的教學策略與知識以支援語文教學； (l) 擁有良好諮詢技巧；以及 (m) 具備良好人際交往和組識能力。 <乙類> (a) 持有教師教育文憑及最少十五年教授小學英文科的經驗； (b) 在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考，英國語文科考獲第2級[註]或以上，或具備同等成績； (c ) 具備教授英語作為外語或第二語言的資歷為佳; (d) 具備教授英語的碩士資歷為佳； (e) 具備最少三年在香港小學及/或中學發展和實踐語文學習計劃； (f) 具備最少三年設計和舉辦敎師專業發展活動予本地英文科教師和「英語教師」的經驗； (g) 具備計劃評估的經驗及相關的實用知識去運用電腦程式開發數據庫，以完善敎師專業發展活動策劃及評估工作； (h) 具備領導課程發展計劃經驗者可獲優先考慮； (i) 擁有良好英語會話及書寫能力； (j) 擁有在壓力下工作的良好能力； (k) 掌握科技運用的最新趨勢及廣泛的教學策略與知識以支援語文教學； (l) 擁有良好諮詢技巧；以及 (m) 具備良好人際交往和組識能力。

Applicants should possess: (Category A) (a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, preferably majoring in English, or equivalent; (b) A Postgraduate Certificate in Education, or Master's degree in TEFL/TESL, or equivalent; (c) Level 3 (Note) or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; (d) At least 6 years of experience in teaching English at the primary level; (e) At least 3 years of experience in developing and implementing literacy programmes suitable for primary and/or secondary students in Hong Kong; (f) At least 3 years of experience in designing and conducting professional development programmes for English teachers, including NETs and LETs, in local schools; (g) Experience in project evaluation and practical knowledge of using computer programs to develop databases to serve programme planning and evaluation purposes; (h) Experience in leading curriculum development projects preferred; (i) Good spoken and written English; (j) Strong ability to work under pressure; (k) A sound knowledge of a repertoire of pedagogical strategies and latest trends in using technology to support language learning and teaching; (l) Good consultancy skills; and (m) Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
