負責(i)策劃和發展數碼廣播設施及網絡，包括數碼電視及電台訊號輸入／分配系統、遙距監控系統、網絡冗餘及復修；(ii)就數碼廣播的訊號傳送進行工程可行性研究；(iii)就新廣播技術進行評估及就有關表現作報告；(iv)就工程發展與內部各組及外間組織互相協調；(v)擬備及評估標書；(vi)督導工程人員；及(vii)在落實工程項目的過程中監督外間承辦商的工作。(受聘人或須不定時和在星期日及公眾假期工作。)
職責
- (i)to carry out planning and development of digital broadcast facilities and networks, including digital TV and radio contribution / distribution systems, remote monitoring systems, network redundancy and restoration;
- (ii)to conduct engineering feasibility studies in relation to digital broadcast transmission;
- (iii)to evaluate new broadcast technologies and to report on their performances;
- (iv)to coordinate with internal and external bodies in engineering development;
- (v)to prepare and evaluate tenders;
- (vi)to supervise engineers; and
- (vii)to supervise external contractors during engineering project implementation. (The post holder may be required to work irregular hours including Sundays and public holidays.)

- (i)持有香港頒授的學位，以主修電子、電訊、電腦科學、資訊科技、系統工程或工程管理學為佳，或具備同等學歷；以及在策劃及發展電視或電台廣播工程項目方面，包括射頻傳輸、錄播室及電台工程或其他媒體服務具有八年的實際工作經驗，其中三年負責監督技術運作及維修保養工作；或
- (ii)持有香港大專院校頒授的認可高級文憑／副學士學位，以主修電子、電訊、電腦科學、資訊科技、系統工程或工程管理學為佳，或具備同等學歷，並具有九年實際的相關工作經驗，其中三年負責監督技術運作及維修保養工作；或
- (iii)持有香港大專院校頒授的文憑／高級證書，以主修電子、電訊、電腦科學、資訊科技、系統工程或工程管理學為佳，或具備同等學歷，並具有十年實際的相關工作經驗，其中三年負責監督技術運作及維修保養工作；
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學會考／香港中學文憑考試英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具備同等成績[請參閱註(1)]。
申請人如－
- (i)具備優良的英文書寫能力；及／或
- (ii)熟悉最新廣播科技，包括高清電視、數碼聲音廣播、數碼新聞室、廣播網絡、媒體資產管理及其應用
則更為理想。
Candidates should have -
- (a)
- (i)a Hong Kong degree, preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering or Engineering Management, or equivalent; and 8 years’ hands-on experience in the planning and development of TV or radio broadcast engineering projects, including RF Transmission, Studio and Station engineering or other media services, of which 3 years’ experience in supervising technical operations and maintenance; OR
- (ii)an accredited Higher Diploma/Associate Degree, preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering or Engineering Management, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 9 years’ relevant hands-on experience, of which 3 years’ experience in supervising technical operations and maintenance; OR
- (iii)a Diploma/Higher Certificate, preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering or Engineering Management, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 10 years’ relevant hands-on experience, of which 3 years’ experience in supervising technical operations and maintenance;
- (b)met the language proficiency requirement of Level 2 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent [See Note (1)].
Candidates who have -
- (i)proficiency in written English; and / or
- (ii)good understanding of the latest broadcast technologies including HDTV, DAB+, Digital Newsroom, Broadcast Networks, MAM and their applications
will have an advantage.
