職責
主要職責包括:
(a) 籌劃及安排宴會和活動包括場地佈置及接待賓客;
(b) 負責管理宴會及餐飲工作,包括與出品部密切聯繫、構思菜單、安排採購食材和監控收貨質量、確保出品質素及備存記錄;以及
(c) 指導及編排員工的工作包括監督接待及侍餐流程,餐具配套安排,務求為賓客提供優質餐飲服務。
(註:獲取錄的申請人須(a)超時及不定時工作,包括在晚間、周六、周日及公眾假期工作;(b)奉派香港禮賓府、粉嶺別墅和其他地方工作;以及(c)按需要執行戶外工作。本辦公室可提供宿舍供獲取錄的申請人留宿。)
Major duties are:
(a) to plan and organise banquets and functions including venue setting and guest reception;
(b) to manage banquet and food and beverage services including liaison with kitchen, menu design, food procurement, quality control and record keeping of food and stock; and
(c) to coach and supervise staff in guest reception, provision of catering services and arrangement of tableware, aiming to provide quality food and beverage services to guests.
(Note: Food and Beverage Manager is required to (a) work overtime and irregular hours including evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; (b) be deployed to work in Government House, Fanling Lodge and any other places as required; and (c) to perform outdoor duties as required. This Office may provide staff quarters for the successful candidate.)

(a) 具至少十五年於酒店或大型服務業機構管理宴會及餐飲工作的經驗;
(b) 具備良好中文和英文寫作能力,能操流利英語和粵語,懂電腦文書處理及能操普通話者為佳;以及
(c) 持有餐飲業或宴會服務管理相關學歷者將獲優先考慮。
The post is open to both male and female applicants. Candidates should :
(a) have at least 15 years’ experience in managing banquet and catering services in hotels or large hospitality establishment;
(b) have a good command of Chinese and English, both written and spoken, and computer word processing; and ability to speak Putonghua is an advantage; and
(c) have relevant qualifications in catering and banquet management is preferred.
