The Emission Inventory and Modeling Section under the Mobile Source Group of the Air Policy Division is working on vehicle emission measurements and modeling. The successful candidate will be required to – <br>

• (a)oversee and manage the contractors for conducting studies; <br>
• (b)liaise with other governmental bodies, local and overseas contractors and suppliers for collecting information; <br>
• (c)check data, collate returns; <br>
• (d)procure equipment, their parts, accessories and consumables; and <br>
• (e)prepare tender documents and perform other administrative duties.

Applicants should have – <br>

• (a)a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in science subject; <br>
• (b)met the language proficiency requirement of Level 2 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent

(Note: For non-civil service appointment purpose, “Grade E” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 2” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.); and <br> (c) minimum 3 years’ full-time relevant post-qualification working experience including at least 2 years’ full-time relevant post-qualification working experience in project management and at least 1 year’s full-time relevant post-qualification in administrative work.
