(iii) 與金融監管機構及公共及私營機構的其他金融科技公司持份者建立牢固的關係和網絡，以最大限度地發揮影響力，提升優質服務，有效傳達香港及海外制定的政策；並建立一個相關的數據庫；
(iv) 為金融科技團隊建立和實施一系列服務，以協助金融科技公司和企業家，並提供後續支持；
(v) 了解金融科技行業的最新發展、收集、分析市場情報，以建立市場知識，並與客戶、業界持份者及投資推廣署的環球團隊分享及交流資訊，以及提出改善香港作為亞洲金融科技領先中心的競爭力及吸引力的措施；以及
(vi) 與其他政府部門聯繫，協調香港的金融科技發展，並就本署發展金融科技的角色，編製有關文件及回應媒體及其他政府部門。

Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) is the department of HKSAR government tasked to attract and retain foreign direct investment in Hong Kong. Its dedicated Fintech team promotes Hong Kong as one of the fastest growing Fintech ecosystems and attracts and facilitates innovative Fintech companies to set up and expand in the city.
Hong Kong has emerged as a premier hub for the overseas, local and Mainland Fintech communities to meet and explore business opportunities. As one of the top three global financial centre and a business capital in Asia, Hong Kong acts a landing pad for Fintech companies eyeing regional opportunities in Asia, and as a launch pad for Mainland Fintech enterprises seeking international expansion.
To demonstrate the business opportunities in the Fintech sector that can be seized by investors in and via Hong Kong, InvestHK is looking for a seasoned and enthusiastic candidate to fill the important management position of Head of Fintech. With a strong drive for results and impact, the incumbent will lead a team of specialists to achieve performance targets, through reaching out to potential investors worldwide in collaboration with the InvestHK global team and key external stakeholders. The incumbent is expected to possess deep understanding of Hong Kong’s Fintech sector and the general business environment. Being highly goal-driven and client-centric, the incumbent should demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills.
Duties
(i) To lead a Fintech team in developing and executing an investment promotion strategy and business plan to attract, facilitate and provide support to overseas and Mainland Fintech companies, entrepreneurs, investors, talents, Incubators, Accelerators and Innovation Labs (including WealthTech, Credit Tech, Insurtech, Blockchain and Regtech) to establish their presence and/or expand their business operations in Hong Kong and connecting them with relevant stakeholders, and promoting the city as a global hub for Fintech;
(ii) To participate and speak in local and overseas business events, promoting the unique advantages and opportunities of Hong Kong’s Fintech sector to the international business community, supporting and staging Fintech events, marketing and PR initiatives in Hong Kong, in the Mainland and overseas. To lead the planning and organisation of the annual flagship event Hong Kong Fintech Week and related promotional activities;
(iii) To establish strong relationships and networks with financial regulators and other Fintech stakeholders in the public and private sectors to maximize impact, enhance quality service delivery and effectively convey policy being formulated in Hong Kong and overseas; and build a relevant database;
(iv) To build and implement a range of service offerings for the Fintech team to serving Fintech companies and entrepreneurs and provide aftercare support;
(v) To keep abreast with the latest developments of the Fintech sector, collect, analyse market intelligence to build market knowledge and share and exchange information with clients, industry stakeholders and InvestHK’s global teams and recommend ways to improve Hong Kong’s competitiveness and attractiveness as a leading Fintech hub in Asia; and
(vi) To liaise with other government departments to coordinate Fintech development in Hong Kong; to prepare relevant papers and responses to media and other government departments as required on the Department’s role in developing Fintech.
(Remarks: The position will require some international and Mainland travel.)

(b) 持有香港學士學位或同等學歷，主修工商管理、市場營銷、經濟、電腦科學或相關科目優先。如具有更高學歷者更佳；
(c) 對金融科技及創業生態系統具有豐富知識，曾在金融科技初創企業工作，具有投資推廣或經濟發展方面工作經驗者會有優勢；
(d) 與香港及／或海外的金融科技創業生態系統有良好的聯繫網絡；
(e) 具備優秀的英語寫作能力及口語表達技巧；如具備良好中文寫作能力並通曉粵語及普通話更理想，而懂得其他語言會有優勢。

(a) Minimum 10 years of relevant full-time work experience gained in account management, business development, or marketing within the Fintech, financial services, media or technology industry, experience in line management and relevant working experience in Hong Kong are important;
(b) A Hong Kong Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration, marketing, economics, computer science or related field; a higher degree would be an advantage;
(c) Sound knowledge and good understanding of Fintech and startup ecosystems and experience in working with the Fintech community. Experience in investment promotion or economic development would be an advantage;
(d) Good networks within the Hong Kong and/or overseas Fintech startup ecosystems; and
(e) Have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Good command of written Chinese, spoken Cantonese and Putonghua is desirable. Proficiency in other languages will be an advantage.
