職責
(a) 發展及檢視科學教育學習領域中化學科(中四至中六)及科學科(中一至中三)課程,以及監察及評鑑科學相關課程的推行;
(b) 策劃、籌辦及提供在職教師專業發展課程和實驗室技術員培訓活動,以協助推行科學/科學、科技、工程、藝術及數學(STEAM)教育;
(c) 策劃、統籌及製作相關的課程資源,以促進科學/STEAM教育的學與教;
(d) 策劃、籌辦及推行課程支援計劃,以及向學校提供有關推行科學/STEAM教育的意見,包括整體課程規劃、教學法、評估和實驗室安全管理等事宜;
(e) 聯絡其他政府部門、大專院校及有關機構,協作推行科學/STEAM教育;
(f) 籌辦相關的課程發展項目,包括試行學與教策略、個案研究及學校探訪等,以促進科學/STEAM教育的推行;
(g) 評審教科書及相關的學與教資源;
(h) 籌辦和推行與科學/STEAM教育有關的活動和項目;以及
(i) 執行上司委派的其他職務。

(a) To develop and review the curriculum for the subjects of Chemistry (S4-6) and Science (S1-3) in the Science Education Key Learning Area, and to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Science-related curricula;
(b) To plan, organise and conduct in-service professional development programmes for teachers as well as training courses for laboratory technicians to facilitate the implementation of Science/Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education;
(c) To plan, co-ordinate and develop the curriculum resources to enhance the learning and teaching of Science/STEAM education;
(d) To plan, organise and conduct curriculum support programmes to schools and provide advice on matters related to implementation of Science/STEAM education (including holistic curriculum development, pedagogy, assessment, laboratory safety and management, etc.);
(e) To liaise and cooperate with other government departments, tertiary institutions and relevant organisations on matters related to Science/STEAM education;
(f) To organise and conduct curriculum development projects, such as piloting learning and teaching strategies, conducting case studies and school visits, to enhance the implementation of Science/STEAM education;
(g) To review textbooks and related resources materials;
(h) To organise and conduct activities and events related to Science/STEAM education; and
(i) To undertake any other duties as assigned.

入職條件
(a) 持有香港所頒授主修化學的學士學位,或具備同等學歷[參閱註(ii)];
(b) 持有香港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書,或具備同等學歷[參閱註(ii)];
(c) 符合語文能力要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷[中文運用及英文運用]中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等成績[參閱註(iii)];
(d) 在取得上述(a)及(b)的學歷後,具備不少於6年的教學及/或課程發展經驗[參閱註(iv)];
(e) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績[參閱註(v)];
(f) 對化學教育、科學/科學、科技、工程、藝術及數學(STEAM)教育,以及本地教育制度有豐富知識及經驗;以及
(g) 持有與教育有關的高等學位,如碩士或博士學位,或具備同等學歷者優先[參閱註(ii)]。

(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note (ii)];
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [see Note (iii)];
(d) At least 6 years' relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a) and (b)] experience in teaching and/or curriculum development [see Note (iv)];
(e) A pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test [see Note (v)];
(f) Possess sound knowledge and educational experience in the area of Chemistry education, Science/Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education and local education system; and
(g) Preference will be given to candidates who possess a higher degree (e.g. a second/higher degree) related to education, or equivalent [see Note (ii)].

(ii) 申請人須在申請表上清楚註明所修讀學位課程的主修和副修科目。申請人如有其他學歷(例如有關科目的碩士或博士學位),亦須一併在申請表上列明。
(iii) 綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」,並以「二級」為最高等級。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) English Language科「C」級或以上成績,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上,並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績,在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日有效。
