(a) 處理大型和複雜的內部和外部研究計劃；
(b) 監察亞太地區和全球的社會、經濟及政治最新發展，以及對香港的影響；
(c) 協調本地或不同研究組織與特首政策組的合作；以及
(d) 策劃和監察聚焦小組、研討會及公眾會議。

入職條件
申請人必須：
(a) 持有本港大學國際關係博士學位，或具同等學歷[參閱註(1)]；
(b) 對中國外交關係以及國際議題有充分認識，以及對不同文化、政治和經濟制度有深入的了解；
(c) 擁有不少於20年全職從事國際關係、公共事務及政策相關的工作經驗，而當中不少於10年在不同國家和地區工作 [參閱註(1)] ；
(d) 精通多國語言，包括中文和英文；以及
(e) 具有良好人際溝通技巧及表達能力。
