- (a)協助主管規劃，協調和推行有關種族關係的宣傳／教育項目，例如到學校舉行講座／介紹和籌辦展覽以介紹不同少數族裔的文化；
- (b)協助主管推行加強支援少數族裔的措施，例如監督承辦商為少數族裔新來港人士和青少年提供的支援服務；
- (c)以不同途徑，例如地區外展、出席活動和會議，推廣對少數族裔的支援服務；
- (d)會見不同少數族裔團體，以加強聯繫和鞏固網絡；以及
- (e)履行由民政事務總署的主管不時指派的其他職務。
職責
- (a)assist in planning, co-ordinating and implementing race-relations publicity / education programmes, e.g. delivering talks/presentations on cultural sensitivity at schools and organising exhibitions to introduce cultures of different ethnic groups;
- (b)assist in implementing initiatives for enhancing support services for ethnic minorities, e.g. monitoring the support services provided to ethnic minority new arrivals and youths by contractors;
- (c)promote the support services for ethnic minorities through district outreach, attending functions and meetings, etc.;
- (d)meet different ethnic minority groups to strengthen liaison and networking; and
- (e)undertake such additional tasks as the supervisors in the Home Affairs Department may direct from time to time.
入職條件
- (a)
- (i)持有香港任何一所大學頒發的學士學位，或具同等學歷；或
- (ii)持有本港大專院校頒授的高級文憑或副學士學位，並在取得有關學歷後，在以下任何一個或多於一個範疇具備兩年工作經驗；策劃和籌辦宣傳／教育活動、公共關係、社會服務、培訓和發展；
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考英國語文科考獲第3級或以上成績，或具同等成績；
- (c)通曉英語和粵語；
- (d)精通尼泊爾語（能書寫尼泊爾文會獲優先考慮）；
- (e)具極佳的人際技巧和溝通技巧；以及
- (f)熟悉電腦應用，例如英文和少數族裔語文文書處理、試算表和簡報程式（懂多媒體製作會獲優先考慮）。
- (a)
- (i)A bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; or
- (ii)A higher diploma or associate degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution and 2 years of post-qualification working experience in one or more of the following fields: planning and organization of publicity / educational projects, public relations, social services, training and development;
- (b)Met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
- (c)Good command of spoken English and Cantonese;
- (d)Excellent command of Nepali in spoken form (ability to write in Nepali will be an advantage);
- (e)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- (f)Sound knowledge of computer applications such as word processing in English and minority languages, spreadsheet and presentation (knowledge in multi-media production will be an advantage).
