職責
(a) 就「EV屋苑充電易資助計劃」（資助計劃）下現有私人住宅樓宇停車場的電動車充電基礎設施安裝工程與相關政府部門、機構、業界及電力公司聯絡，以解決技術問題；
(b) 監察資助計劃申請人所聘請的工程顧問的工作，以確保其電動車充電基礎設施的設計及擬備的安裝工程規格符合環境保護署發出的《EV屋苑充電易資助計劃電動車充電基礎設施設計指南》和《制訂聘用工程顧問及承建商安裝電動車充電基礎設施標書規範指引》；
(c) 審查及批核資助計劃申請人提交的電動車充電基礎設施安裝工程規格和相關招標文件；
(d) 作為獨立觀察員出席資助計劃申請人就電動車充電基礎設施安裝工程招聘工程顧問和承建商的開標；
(e) 監察電動車充電基礎設施安裝工程的進度並核實安裝工程是否圓滿完工，以建議發放資助予資助計劃申請人；以及
(f) 執行其他與資助計劃有關的工作。
其他相關的工作要求：工作時間及地點或會按部門的運作需要而變更。獲取錄者可能需要(a)不定時及超時工作，包括在晚上、周末、周日和公眾假期工作；以及(b)在戶外工作。

(a) To resolve technical issues relating to installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging-enabling infrastructure (EVCEI) in car parks of existing private residential buildings under the EV-charging at Home Subsidy Scheme (EHSS) by liaising with relevant Government departments, organisations, trade bodies and the power companies;
(b) To monitor the works of consultants employed by the EHSS applicants with an aim to ensure the design and works specifications of the EVCEI prepared by the consultants are in compliance with the “Design Guidelines for EVCEI under the EHSS” and “Guidance on Preparation of Specifications for Employment of Consultants and Contractors for Installation Works under the EHSS” issued by the Environmental Protection Department;
(c) To vet and approve works specifications and tender documents of installation works of EVCEI submitted by the EHSS applicants;
(d) To attend opening of tenders for engagement of consultants and contractors for installation of EVCEI arranged by EHSS applicants as an independent observer;
(e) To monitor progress of EVCEI installation works, and verify acceptance of satisfactory completion of the EVCEI installation works for recommending release of subsidies to EHSS applicants; and
(f) To carry out other duties which are relevant to implementation of the EHSS.
Other Job-related Requirements: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. Successful candidate may be required to (a) work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings, weekends, Sundays and public holidays; and (b) work outdoors.

Candidates should –
(a) have Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (in either Electrical or Building Services Discipline) elected after 5 December 1975, or equivalent;
(b) be Registered Electrical Workers registered under the Electricity (Registration) Regulations;
(c) have at least three years’ full-time post-qualification experience related to design, construction, maintenance, upgrading, procurement and management of contracts for fixed electrical installations and / or charging infrastructure for electric vehicles;
(d) have met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 1” or above in the two language papers of Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent (Note);
(e) preferably be Registered Energy Assessors registered under the Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance;
(f) preferably be Registered Professional Engineers registered under the Engineers Registration Ordinance; and
(g) preferably have project experience in building alteration and addition works.
