職責
(a) 管理根據《環境影響評估條例》就指定工程項目提交的申請書和非指定工程項目提交的環境研究，並審閱相關文件；
(b) 協助處理與《環境影響評估條例》有關的法律工作，並提供專業意見；
(c) 就有關環境影響評估和環境研究的事宜與持份者（包括相關申請人、政府決策局及部門、公司、承辦商和顧問）溝通；
(d) 整理發展計劃及規劃事宜，並提供專業意見；
(e) 為規劃及發展方案的環境評估方法和技術，以及工程項目的環境監察和審核工作提供意見；以及
(f) 執行上司指派的其他職務。
其他相關的工作要求：工作時間及地點或會按部門的運作需要而變更。獲取錄者可能需要(a)不定時及超時工作，包括在晚上、周末、周日和公眾假期工作；(b)在戶外工作；以及(c)在偏遠地點工作。

(b) To assist in handling legal work relating to the EIA Ordinance and to provide professional insights;
(c) To engage with stakeholders including project proponents, government bureaux and departments, corporations, contractors and consultants on matters concerning EIA and environmental studies;
(d) To coordinate and provide professional advice on development proposals and planning matters;
(e) To provide advice on methodologies and techniques for environmental assessment of planning and development proposals, as well as project environmental monitoring and auditing; and
(f) To perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Other Job-related Requirements: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. Successful candidate may be required to (a) work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings, weekends, Sundays and public holidays; (b) work outdoors; and (c) work at remote locations.

(b) 在取得相關學歷後，具備最少三年與環境保護、環境影響評估或環境規劃相關的全職工作經驗，具備處理《環境影響評估條例》相關法律工作經驗者佔優；以及
(c) 符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科成績達第2級或以上，或同等成績（註）

Candidates should have –
(a) a bachelor’s degree from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent, in subject relevant to science, planning or engineering, or equivalent;
(b) at least three years’ full-time post-qualification working experience in environmental protection, environmental impact assessment (EIA) or environmental planning, preferably with experience in handling legal work relating to the EIA Ordinance; and
(c) met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note).

入職條件(註)
2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或以後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
