(a) To conduct field survey work including tree / vegetation identification and assessment, and to prepare inspection records and reports as may be required; (b) To undertake compliance inspections of completed landscape works required as planning approval conditions; (c) To assist the landscape team by providing advice on landscape and tree preservation proposals, tree protection and management aspects of tree monitoring reports / submissions; (d) To assist the landscape team by providing advice on landscape aspects of planning and other proposals submitted under Town Planning Ordinance or Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance; and (e) To keep and update records in relation to the landscape condition of sites.

Candidates should have (a) (i) a diploma or higher certificate in environmental management studies, natural science or a related subject from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/ technical institute/technical college, or equivalent; or (ii) a recognised diploma from an agricultural or forestry school/college, or equivalent; (b) Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent [See Note (1)]; (c) a minimum of one year of proven full-time practical experience in countryside/ arboriculture/ forestry/ tree management; and (d) basic knowledge on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
