(a) To assist in the development and trying out of the Depository of Curriculum-based Learning and Teaching Resources (Depository) for Geography of Personal, Social & Humanities Education key learning area at junior secondary level; (b) To assist in developing high quality e-resources with innovative pedagogical advice such as teaching schemes in order to promote e-Learning; (c) To source, evaluate and compile suitable e-resources as well as to make them easily accessible on the Depository; (d) To assist in organizing learning materials into topic-based or theme-based modules according to the curriculum and to prepare related user guides; (e) To help solicit views and liaise with relevant parties including subject teachers, experts from the professional organizations, tertiary institutions and Hong Kong Education City in order to ensure that the content of the Depository can meet local teachers' needs; (f) To assist in organizing and conducting professional development activities and providing support to teachers; (g) To update and enhance the Depository and assist in evaluating its effectiveness and; (h) To perform any other duties as required for enhancing the quality of IT in education in schools.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree with major in Geography or related disciplines, or equivalent; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; (c) Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [See Note], or equivalent; (d) At least one year's relevant post-qualification experience in teaching or education resources development in Geography at secondary level; (e) Good knowledge of the local education system; (f) Well aware of the current local and international trends in the learning and teaching of relevant subjects; (g) Understand how to integrate IT into learning and teaching; (h) Proficiency in computer knowledge and Internet surfing for developing and sourcing e-resources; and (i) Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
