(a) To oversee the planning, coordination, monitoring and development of the Project on the Tiered Intervention Model (the Model) for students with Specific Learning Difficulties in reading and writing (SpLD) in ordinary schools; (b) To lead the support team and co-ordinate recruitment of schools, training and consultation to participating schools on the adaptation of the school curriculum to meet the needs of the students with SpLD; (c) To co-ordinate networking activities and promote good practices for supporting students with special educational needs on district and territory-wide levels; (d) To enable different stakeholders of the schools to better understand the special educational needs of students such as assessing the needs of students and giving advice on intervention strategies and educational provision; (e) To work with Education Bureau officers on the strategic planning for the long-term implementation of the Model; (f) To assist the Section Head to conduct evaluation of the Project; (g) To supervise the work of the Project Officer and Advisory Teachers of the support team; and (h) Any other duties as assigned by the Section Head.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Psychology, or equivalent; (b) a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institute, or equivalent [See Note 1]; (c) a Hong Kong master's degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice), or equivalent; (d) Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [See Note 2] or equivalent; (e) a minimum of 6 years' relevant experience after obtaining (a) above of which at least 5 years as an Educational Psychologist in an educational setting after obtaining (c) [See Note 3]; and (f) applicants with experience in school development and systems work will have an advantage.
