• (a)To coordinate recruitment exercises to recruit young people and people of diverse race as CAS members;
• (b)To organise, coordinate and conduct a wide range of training and events for young people, people of diverse race and the local community, including training on flag-raising, footdrill, emergency preparedness and discipline;
• (c)To act as an CAS ambassador to the general public and people of different races, and assist in liaising with government departments, non-governmental organisations, local schools, religious organisations and commercial organisations for promoting the programmes of the Public Education Section;
• (d)To serve as a supervisor, trainer and/or mentor of the youth training activities and assist in preparing training materials;
• (e)To assist in the promotion of national security and national education;
• (f)To assist in the coordination of activities and production of promotional publications for the general public, youth and people of different races;
• (g)To provide day-to-day administrative support, including compilation of statistics and performance indicators in respect of public education activities; and
• (h)To coordinate the major events and national and civic education activities of the Public Education Section.

Candidates should:

• (a)
  • (i)have Level 2 or equivalent

• (ii)have Level 2

• (b)have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2

• (c)have at least one year of full-time or two years of part-time working experience in civil defence or youth work or in carrying out outdoor activities; and
• (d)have good command of Cantonese and English.
