在小學「以英語為母語的英語敎師」(下稱「英語教師」)計劃內擔任語文學習計劃發展主任,有關的職責包括:
(a)支援由課程發展處外籍英語教師組創立的「小學識字計劃–閱讀及寫作」下一階段的資源完善和發展工作;
(b)為參與「小學識字計劃–閱讀及寫作」的學校在下一階段的實踐中提供支援;
(c)策劃、籌辦、進行和檢討「小學識字計劃–閱讀及寫作」下一階段的敎師專業發展工作坊;
(d)協助外籍英語教師組種子計劃統籌員推行「發展多元文本以豐富小學校本英語課程」計劃的相關工作;
(e)為小學「 英語敎師」計劃的評估提供專業支援,擔當計劃評估小組和參與識字計劃的學校之間的聯絡員角色;以及
(f)如有需要,按敎育局局長或其指定人員的要求,執行與為小學「 英語敎師」計劃有關的其他職務。
To be the Literacy Programme Development Officer (PNET). The duties are:
(a) To support the refinement and development of resources in the next phase of the Primary Literacy Programme – Reading/Writing (PLP-R/W), which is a programme developed from scratch by the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) Section of the Curriculum Development Institute;
(b) To provide school support for literacy programme implementation in the next phase;
(c) To plan, develop, organise, conduct and review Centralised Professional Development (CPD) workshops in the next phase of literacy programme development;
(d) To serve as an assistant to the coordinator of the NET Section's Seed Project, Development of Text Sets for Enriching the School-based English Curriculum at the Primary Level;
(e) To provide professional support for the evaluation of the NET Scheme in Primary Schools as a link person between the evaluation team and the programme schools selected; and
(f) To perform any other duties related to the NET Scheme in Primary Schools as and when required by the Secretary for Education or such officers as the Secretary may nominate.
月薪58,550 元 (甲類入職條件) / 53,430元 (乙類入職條件)
(a)根據《僱傭條例》的規定,按適當情況,可享有14天年假、休息日、法定假日(或代替假日)、產假及疾病津貼。(b)獲錄用者如圓滿履行合約、而期間一直表現理想兼行為良好,可獲發約滿酬金。該筆酬金,連同政府根據《強制性公積金計劃條例》的規定為受聘人向強制性公積金計劃所作的供款,將相等於合約期所得底薪總額的10%。

(a)持有本港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書,或具備同等學歷;及最少十五年教授小學英文科的經驗;
(b)在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考,英國語文科考獲第2級[註]或以上,或具備同等成績;
(c)具備教授英語作為外語或第二語言的資歷為佳;
(d)具備教授英語的碩士資歷為佳;
(e)具備最少三年在香港小學發展和實踐識字計劃;
(f)具備最少三年設計和舉辦敎師專業發展活動予本地的英文科教師,包括「英語教師」的經驗;
(g)具備計劃評估的經驗;
(h)具備領導課程發展計劃經驗者可獲優先;
(i)擁有良好英語會話及書寫能力;
(j)擁有在壓力下工作的良好能力;
(k)具備良好運用科技支援語文教學的知識;
(l)擁有良好諮詢技巧;以及

(b) Level 2 (Note) or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(c) Qualifications for the teaching of English as a Foreign Language or as a Second Language (TEFL/TESL) preferred;
(d) Master's degree in English language teaching preferred;
(e) At least 3 years of experience in developing and implementing literacy programmes suitable for primary students in Hong Kong;

政府在聘任時,2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績,在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績。
