Successful candidates will be deployed to various sections/offices in the Works Branch of the Development Bureau to undertake the following duties (Note 2) – (a) to coordinate with policy bureaux/departments to work out land tender arrangements for disposal of government sites in Kowloon East; (b) to assist in the formulation of development restrictions and design requirements for incorporation into the land tender documents; (c) to coordinate with the Lands Department to prepare land tender documents; (d) to draft operational agreements or relevant documents; (e) to oversee the land tender process and provide support to the relevant Committees in tender assessments; (f) to assist in management of government leases and operational agreements; (g) to assist in planning, engaging and management of consultancy studies; and (h) to perform any other duties assigned.

This position is open to both male and female. Applicants should – (a) be Corporate Members of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (General Practice Division), or equivalent; (b) have at least three years’ post-qualification experience in the field of Valuation and Estate Management/ Estate Agency/ Property Development by the end of the application period and with relevant working experience in land transactions; (c) have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 3’ (Note 1) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; (d) have good command of oral and written Chinese and English; and (e) have good communication and interpersonal skills.
