職責
就各項民航事宜向運輸及房屋局提供專業及技術性的建議和意見，包括:
(a) 三跑道系統的規劃及推展，包括有關工程的詳細設計及與飛機相關和可應用於香港國際機場運作的環境影響緩解措施中的民航相關事宜；以及相關政府部門就三跑道系統所要求的設施規劃;
(b) 有關飛機意外調查的國際準則及處理方法，包括國際民間航空組織及國際航空運輸協會的現行做法及相關規例;
(c) 香港國際機場的航空交通運輸管制; 及
(d) 與國際民航業有關的一般事宜。
To provide professional and technical advice and input to the Bureau on various civil aviation matters, including-
(a) the planning and implementation of the Three-Runway System (3RS) Project, including advice on the matters relating to civil aviation in the relevant detailed design and the environmental mitigation measures with respect to aircraft and airport operation that are practicable at Hong Kong International Airport; and facilities planning required by the relevant Government department(s) for the 3RS project;
(b) international standards and practice on the investigation of aircraft accidents, including the current practice and regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and International Air Transport Association (IATA);
(c) air traffic control operations of Hong Kong International Airport; and
(d) matters relating to international aviation industry in general.
入職條件
(a) 具最少二十年航空業相關的工作經驗及具備制定航空政策與策略，高層管理及航空監管工作的經驗；
(b) 熟悉香港及鄰近地區，以至國際的航空情況及發展;
(c) 具備與國際航空組織合作的工作經驗;及
(d) 具備流利中英文能力。
(a) Has a minimum of 20 years’ experience in aviation industry and has experience in the formulation of aviation strategies and policies and experience in senior management and aviation regulatory functions;
(b) Be familiar with Hong Kong, regional as well as international aviation regime and related development;
(c) Has experience working with international aviation organisations; and
(d) Be fluent in both Chinese and English.
