職責
項目主任(中藥)的主要職責為 –
(a) 協助管理中醫藥研究項目;
(b) 監察研究和化驗工作的進度,與相關的不同部門密切聯絡,並於有需要時到香港以外的研究機構考察;
(c) 檢討研究機構所用的方法及所得的數據和結果,擬備建議報告,並在有需要時提供相關的專業意見;
(d) 負責中成藥註冊的審核及向下屬提供相關的專業支援;
(e) 協助就中成藥有關毒性,穩定性和品質標準等編寫報告;
(f) 鑒別中藥材及檢查其品質,及向下屬提供相關的專業支援;
(g) 協助預備及參與各個與研究項目及規管中藥有關的會議;以及
(h) 執行高級人員指派的其他職責。

A Project Officer (Chinese Medicines) is manly deployed -
(a) to assist in the management of research projects on Chinese medicines;
(b) to monitor the progress of the research and laboratory work, liaise with parties concerned frequently and visit research institutes located outside Hong Kong as required;
(c) to review the methods, data and outputs provided by research institutions, prepare reports of recommendations and provide relevant professional inputs wherever necessary;
(d) to assess registration of proprietary Chinese medicines and provide professional support to subordinates on related matters;
(e) to assist in preparing reports regarding toxicity, stability, quality specification, etc of the proprietary Chinese medicines;
(f) to identify Chinese herbal medicines, assess their quality and provide relevant professional support to subordinates;
(g) to assist in organising and participating in various meetings related to the research projects or regulation of Chinese medicines; and
(h) to carry out any other duties as assigned by seniors.
[Remark: May be required to work shift and irregular hours.]
入職條件
申請人必須 –
(a) [註1及2] (i) 持有香港任何一所大學頒授的化學╱生物化學一級或二級榮譽學士學位,或同等學歷;或 (ii) 持有香港任何一所大學頒授的中醫學╱中藥學學士學位,或同等學歷;或 (iii) 持有中華人民共和國教育部註冊的中醫藥大學頒授的中醫或中藥系學士學位,或同等學歷;
(b) 在 (i) 與中藥有關研究和化驗工作,或 (ii) 審核及評估中藥的品質、安全及成效方面,具一年或以上的實際工作經驗 [註3];
(c) (i) 在香港中學會考或香港中學文憑考試中國語文科及英國語文科考獲「第3級」或以上成績,或具備同等成績 [註4];或 (ii) 於香港高級程度會考中,在(1)中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科,及(2)英語運用科考獲「D」級或以上的成績,或具備同等成績;
(d) 能操流利粵語、普通話及英語;及
(e) 具良好的溝通、人際、分析和組織能力。

2 申請人須遞交修業成績副本及畢業證書副本。
3 申請人須遞交有關的工作經驗證明文件副本。
4 政府在聘任時,2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科(課程乙)「C」級成績,在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科「第3級」成績。)
Candidates should have –
(a) [Note 1&2] (i) a first or second class Bachelor honours degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; or (ii) a Bachelor degree from in Chinese Medicine/ Pharmacy in Chinese Medicine from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; or (iii) a Bachelor degree from a university registered under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China with main stream in Chinese medicine(s), or equivalent;
(b) at least one year’s practical working experience in (i) research and laboratory work in Chinese medicines; or (ii) assessment and evaluation of quality, safety and efficacy of Chinese medicines [Note 3];
(c) (i) “Level 3” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or equivalent [Note 4]; or (ii) (1) Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature and (2) Use of English at Grade “D" or above in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE), or equivalent;
(d) good command of spoken Cantonese, Putonghua and English; and
(e) good communication, interpersonal, analytical and organisation skills.

4 For appointment purpose, Grade “C” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.)
