(一) 處理和發放新聞圖片； (二) 為政府刊物、海報及其他宣傳資料的製作提供專業攝影服務； (三) 策劃照片拍攝以更新圖片資料庫； (四) 為攝影相關事宜提供專業意見； (五) 督導攝影分組工作並提高其作品質素; 及 (六) 妥善管理攝影器材並確保其保持良好功能。
職責
- (1)to cover and release press photos;
- (2)to provide professional photography support for the production of publications, posters and other publicity materials;
- (3)to update stock photographs by initiating photo shootings;
- (4)to provide professional advice on photographic matters;
- (5)to supervise the Photographic Section and enhance the quality of its outputs; and
- (6)to look after inventory and maintenance of photographic equipment.

- (1)(甲) 持有香港任何一所大學頒發的學位，並以攝影作為選修科目，或具同等學歷；及具有二十年或以上全職攝影師的工作經驗，包括監督初級攝影師的經驗；或
(乙) 持有香港任何一所專上院校頒發的經評審副學士學位/高級文憑，並以攝影作為選修科目，或具同等學歷；及具有二十年或以上全職攝影師的工作經驗，包括監督初級攝影師的經驗；或 (丙) 持有註冊專上學院註冊後所頒發的文憑，並以攝影作為選修科目，或具同等學歷；及具有二十年或以上全職攝影師的工作經驗，包括監督初級攝影師的經驗；或 (丁) 在香港中學文憑考試五科考獲第3級或同等

(3)願意不定時工作及能在緊迫時限內完成工作。
甄選：
合適的申請人會獲邀參加面試。他們也可能在面試前獲邀參加技能測試。
Applicants should –
- (1)(a) have a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree with photography as a subject taken, or equivalent; plus at least 20 years’ work experience as a full-time photographer, including experience of supervising junior photographers; OR
- (b)have an accredited associate degree/higher diploma with photography as a subject taken from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; plus at least 20 years’ work experience as a full-time photographer, including experience of supervising junior photographers; OR
- (c)have a diploma with photography as a subject taken from a registered post-secondary college issued after the date of its registration, or equivalent; plus at least 20 years’ work experience as a full-time photographer, including experience of supervising junior photographers; OR
- (d)have Level 3 or equivalent
Note 1] or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE)
Note 2] , or equivalent; or Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) and Level 3

- (f)have at least 27 years’ work experience as a full-time photographer, including experience of supervising junior photographers;
- (2)be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English; and
- (3)be prepared to work outside normal office hours and meet tight deadlines.
Selection Suitable applicants will be invited to attend an interview. They may also be required to take a trade test before the interview.

- (3)2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績。
