- (a)負責詳細策劃和發展數碼廣播系統及相關自動化系統，包括電視及電台製作、後期製作、媒體資產管理、字幕及傳輸系統；
- (b)就數碼廣播技術和製作運作進行工作流程研究；
- (c)就新廣播技術進行評估；
- (d)協調內部各組及外間組織，並監督外間承辦商的工作；
- (e)擬備及評估與工程相關的標書；以及
- (f)執行工程項目的管理工作，其中涉及多個分部／組別不同職能的團隊。(受聘人或需不定時和在星期日及公眾假期工作。)
職責
- (a)to carry out detailed planning and development for digital broadcast systems and related automation systems, covering TV and radio production, post-production, media asset management, subtitling and transmission systems;
- (b)to conduct workflow studies in relation to digital broadcast technical and production operations;
- (c)to evaluate new broadcast technologies;
- (d)to coordinate with internal and external bodies and to supervise external contractors;
- (e)to prepare and evaluate engineering-related tenders; and
- (f)to undertake project management of engineering projects involving functional teams across multiple sections. (The post holder may be required to work irregular hours including Sundays and public holidays.)

- (i)持有香港的大學所頒發學位，以主修電子、電訊、電腦科學、資訊科技、系統工程或工程管理學為佳，或具備同等學歷；並具有五年在取得有關學歷後，處理電視廣播、電台廣播或多媒體業的電視或電台廣播工程項目策劃及發展的實際相關工作經驗；或 <br>(ii)持有香港的專上院校頒授經評審認可的副學士學位或高級文憑，以主修電子、電訊、電腦科學、資訊科技、系統工程或工程管理學為佳，或具備同等學歷；並具有六年在取得有關學歷後，處理電視廣播、電台廣播或多媒體業的電視或電台廣播工程項目策劃及發展的實際相關工作經驗；或 <br>(iii)持有香港的專上院校頒授經評審認可的文憑或高級證書，以主修電子、電訊、電腦科學、資訊科技、系統工程或工程管理學為佳，或具備同等學歷；並具有七年在取得有關學歷後，處理電視廣播、電台廣播或多媒體業的電視或電台廣播工程項目策劃及發展的實際相關工作經驗；以及 <br>(b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學會考或香港中學文憑考試英國語文科考獲第2等級或以上成績，或具備同等成績[請參閱註]。 <br> <br>申請人如 － <br>(i)擅長策劃廣播工程項目、監控技術表現及制訂成本模式； <br>(ii)熟悉最新的廣播科技，包括數碼地面電視、高清電視、無帶化製作、媒體資產管理、數碼新聞室、廣播網絡及其應用； <br>(iii)具備有關圖形系統實時數據應用、媒體工作流程開發、數據網絡及資訊科技的經驗；以及 <br>(iv)擁有以下其中兩項或以上一年的專門經驗：
- (a)應用於廣播方面的資訊科技網絡及系統；
- (b)串流技術；
- (c)媒體資產管理系統；
- (d)數碼影像／聲音廣播；
- (e)工程項目的策略規劃；
- (f)系統開發及整合技術；
- (g)數碼播放系統；及
- (h)射頻傳輸 <br>則更為理想。
Candidates should have – <br>
- (a)
- (i)a Hong Kong Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering or Engineering Management, or equivalent; and 5 years of relevant hands-on post-qualification experience in the planning and development of TV or radio broadcast engineering projects in the TV broadcasting, radio broadcasting or multimedia environment; OR <br>(ii)an accredited Associate Degree or an accredited Higher Diploma, preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering or Engineering Management, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 6 years of relevant hands-on post-qualification experience in the planning and development of TV or radio broadcast engineering projects in the TV broadcasting, radio broadcasting or multimedia environment; OR <br>(iii)an accredited Diploma or Higher Certificate, preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering or Engineering Management, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 7 years of relevant hands-on post-qualification experience in the planning and development of TV or radio broadcast engineering projects in the TV broadcasting, radio broadcasting or multimedia environment; AND <br>(b)met the language proficiency requirement of Level 2 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent [See Note]. <br> <br>Candidates who – <br>(i)are strong at broadcast project planning, technical performance monitoring and cost modeling; <br>(ii)possess good understanding of the latest broadcast technologies including DTT, HDTV, File-based Production, Media Asset Management, Digital Newsroom, Broadcast Networks and their applications; <br>(iii)have experience related to real-time data application on graphical system, media workflow development, data networking and information technologies; and <br>(iv)possess 1 year’s experience specialising in two or more of the following fields:
- (a)Broadcast based IT Network and System;
- (b)Streaming Technology;
- (c)Media Asset Management System;
- (d)Digital Video/Audio Broadcast;
- (e)Engineering Strategic Planning;
- (f)System Development and Integration;
- (g)Digital Playout System; and
- (h)RF Transmission <br>will have an advantage.
