• (a)To assist in the review of the 2016 Tryout Study (Primary 3) and provide support measures to schools;
• (b)To provide professional support in the development of the Student Assessment Repository (STAR) project, including
  • (i)developing new assessment tasks/ items and monitoring of outsourcing services in developing new assessment tasks/ items;
  • (ii)serving as member of Subject Committees to ensure the quality of assessment tasks/ items;
  • (iii)conducting the partner school scheme to try out assessment tasks/ items; and
  • (iv)planning and conducting relevant publicity activities;
• (c)To assist in maintaining the necessary professional support to the Basic Competency Assessment (BCA) Project;
• (d)To assist in organising and conducting professional development programmes on assessment for learning and enhancement of assessment literacy in schools at both primary and secondary levels;
• (e)To assist in organising and conducting workshops or seminars for parents to promote assessment literacy to encourage them for cultivating a positive and right attitude towards the application of assessment data to serve the function of assessment for learning; and
• (f)To assist in developing learning and teaching support materials and conducting studies related to assessment, learning and teaching for the subjects concerned.

• (a)A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a Bachelor of Education degree majoring in Mathematics, or equivalent;
• (b)A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
• (c)Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (Note), or equivalent; and
• (d)At least 6 years' post-degree experience in teaching and/or curriculum development, of which at least 4 years should be at secondary school level. Preference will be given to candidates who have at least 4 or more years of experience at relevant supervisory level.

Preference will be given to candidates with

• (a)Good communication and interpersonal skill; and
• (b)Good computer skills, and/or knowledge and experience in teaching resources development at primary and/or secondary levels by using multi-media means.
