- (a)協助外籍英語教師組部門主管籌劃和協調計劃小組的工作，以促進課程和教學之創新及推動「以英語為母語的英語教師」（「英語教師」）計劃的發展；
- (b)制訂和實施策略以加強宣傳和與「英語教師」團體、其他政府部門和專業團體（包括非政府機構），以及廣大市民的溝通，並透過不同的渠道和活動，以確保學校和社區能認識在中、小學實施的「英語教師」計劃的目標及課程發展處外籍英語教師組的主要發展項目；
- (c)管理外籍英語教師組電子平台的持續發展和推廣，作為發放有關「英語教師」計劃及外籍英語教師組的服務資訊和資源的重要工具；
- (d)領導和管理一個由6位諮詢教師（小學「英語教師」）組成的團隊，以執行(a)-(c)項所列的職責範圍；
- (e)協助外籍英語教師組部門主管、諮詢教師小組經理及外籍英語教師區域統籌小組經理規劃和舉辦每兩個月的內部簡報會，以介紹外籍英語教師組的策略性發展計劃，並報告每項重大主要工作的落實情況和相關問題，以促進課程和教學之創新及推動「英語教師」計劃的發展；以及
- (f)執行被委派的其他職務。

職責
- (a)To assist the Head of the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) Section in planning and coordinating project team work on promoting curriculum and pedagogical innovation to drive the NET Scheme forward;
- (b)To develop and implement strategies to enhance publicity and communication with NET communities, other government departments and professional communities (including Non-Government Organisations), as well as the general public, in order to ensure that the objectives of the NET Scheme in primary and secondary schools and the major initiatives of the NET Section of the Curriculum Development Institute are well communicated to the schools and the community at large, through different channels and events;
- (c)To manage the on-going development and promotion of the NET Section’s e-platform as a key tool to disseminate information and resources relating to the NET Scheme and the NET Section’s services;
- (d)To lead and supervise a 6-strong Advisory Teaching Team in supporting the execution of the range of duties listed in
- (a)– (c);
- (e)To assist Section Head and Advisory Teaching Team and Regional NET Coordinating Team managers in planning and organising bi-monthly internal briefing sessions within the NET Section to present the Section’s strategic development plans and to report on the status quo and related issues of each major initiative in support of the Section goal to promote curriculum and pedagogical innovation through the NET Scheme; and
- (f)To undertake any other duties assigned.

- (b)持有本港專上教育機構頒授教育證書，或具備同等學歷；
- (c)具備敎授英語作為外語或第二語言的證書學歷， 或具備同等學歷優先；
- (d)持有本港頒授的教育碩士學位，或具備同等學歷優先；
- (e)具備至少12年語文教育的相關工作經驗，其中至少有2年與促進英語學習和教學有關的計劃管理的經驗；
- (f)具備公共關係和市場推廣方面的經驗優先；
- (g)具備英國語文教育學習領域課程發展經驗優先；
- (h)具備設計、協調和舉辦教師專業發展計劃方面的經驗優先；
- (i)具備為有特殊教育需要學生設計或實施支援計劃的經驗優先；
- (j)具備領導和統籌語文學習計劃工作經驗優先；
- (k)擁有以英語為母語水平的會話及書寫能力；
- (l)擁有良好中文的會話及書寫能力優先；
- (m)擁有在壓力下工作的良好能力；
- (n)擁有教學策略和運用科技支援語言學習和教學之最新趨勢的良好知識；
- (o)擁有良好諮詢技巧；以及
- (p)具備良好人際交往和組識能力。

- (a)A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, preferably majoring in English, or equivalent;
- (b)A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
- (c)Qualifications for the Teaching of English as a Foreign/Second Language at least at certificate level, or equivalent preferred;
- (d)A Hong Kong master’s degree in education, or equivalent preferred;
- (e)At least 12 years’ post-degree relevant working experience in language education, of which at least 2 years of experience in school, panel or project management related to promotion of English Learning and Teaching;
- (f)Experience in public relations and marketing preferred;
- (g)Experience in curriculum development in English Language Education Key Learning Area preferred;
- (h)Experience in designing, coordinating and conducting teacher professional development programmes preferred;
- (i)Experience in designing or implementing support programmes for Special Educational Needs (SEN) students preferred;
- (j)Experience in leading and coordinating literacy programme development is preferred;
- (k)Native English proficiency (both oral and written);
- (l)Fluent Chinese (both oral and written) is preferred;
- (m)Strong ability to work under pressure;
- (n)A sound knowledge of a repertoire of pedagogical strategies and latest trends in using technology to support language learning and teaching;
- (o)Good consultancy skills; and
- (p)Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
