批發市場管理監督主要負責(a)協助監督副食品／家禽批發市場的整體運作；(b)監察服務承辦商的表現，以確保市場的保安和衞生；(c)監督交通管制、出入口及停車位的情況，以確保交通暢順；(d)執行市場的規則及規例，以維持市場的法紀；(e)協助安排市場員工的工作及人手調配，令市場運作暢順；(f)與市場使用者聯絡，協調副食品／家禽批發市場在運作和管理方面的事宜／問題；(g)為定期與商販、商會代表、承辦商及其他政府官員舉行的會議提供秘書處服務；(h)整理各樣商品的市場資料，以及備存副食品／家禽批發市場的記錄及統計數據；及(i)其他指派工作。 註：可能須執行戶外職務、輪班、在正常工作時間以外及惡劣天氣情況下工作及穿著制服。
職責
A Wholesale Markets Management Supervisor is mainly deployed on
- (a)assisting in the supervision of the overall operation of wholesale food / poultry markets;
- (b)monitoring service contractors’ performance to ensure the market security and hygiene;
- (c)supervising traffic control, ingress, egress and parking facilities to ensure smooth traffic flow;
- (d)enforcing market rules, regulations to maintain law and order at the markets;
- (e)assisting in organizing the work and disposition of market staff to perform market operation duties;
- (f)liaising with market users on matters / problems relating to the operation and management of wholesale food / poultry markets;
- (g)performing secretariat duties in regular meetings with traders, representatives from trade associations, contractors and other departmental officials;
- (h)compiling market information on a commodity basis and maintain records and statistical data of wholesale food / poultry markets; and
- (i)any other duties as may be assigned.
Note: May be required to work outdoors, shifts, outside normal office hours or in adverse weather conditions and wear uniform
入職條件
申請人必須(a)持有本港大學頒發的商學、管理、設施／物業管理或相關科目的學士學位，或具同等學歷；(b)取得大學學位後，至少六年相關工作經驗；及(c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績。 註：
- (1)政府在聘任非公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
- (2)申請人必須熟悉常用電腦軟件如MS Word、 MS PowerPoint、 MS Excel及中文輸入法。
The applicant should have
- (a)a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Management, Facilities / Estate Management or a related subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
- (b)at least six years’ full-time post-degree relevant working experience; and
- (c)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent. Note:
- (1)For non-civil service appointment purpose, ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
- (2)The candidate should be conversant with common computer software including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Chinese characters input.
