職責
主要職責包括：-
(a) 協助制定和實施推動減廢、廢物源頭分類和乾凈回收，以及加強社區回收支援的策略;
(b) 規劃和監督為屋苑、住宅大廈、鄉村和其它處所就實踐減廢和乾凈回收提供實地支援的外展服務；
(c) 規劃和組織公眾教育和宣傳活動，推廣廢物源頭分類和乾淨回收；
(d) 協助和執行有關發展社區回收網絡設施的招標工作；
(e) 協助管理社區回收網絡設施；
(f) 處理公眾查詢和投訴；
(g) 督導非公務員合約僱員的日常工作; 以及
(h) 執行其他由管理層指派的相關職務。
其他相關的工作要求：工作時間及地點須視乎部門的運作需要而定。獲錄用者或需(a)不定時及超時工作，包括晚上、周末和周日及公眾假期；以及(b)在戶外工作。

The main duties include:-
(a) to assist in formulation and implementation of strategies for promotion of waste reduction, source separation of waste and clean recycling, and strengthening community recycling support;
(b) to plan and supervise the delivery of outreaching services for on-site support to estates, residential buildings and villages and other premises on practicing waste reduction and clean recycling;
(c) to plan and organise public education and promotion activities and events on proper waste separation at source and clean recycling;
(d) to support and carry out the tender exercises for the development of community recycling network facilities;
(e) to support the management of the community recycling network facilities;
(f) to handle public enquiries and complaints;
(g) to supervise non-civil service contract staff for daily operations; and
(h) any other relevant duties as directed by the management.
Other Job-related Requirements: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to (a) work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends and public holidays; and (b) work outdoors.

Applicants should have: –
(a) a Hong Kong degree in a relevant science or engineering subject, or equivalent;
(b) a minimum of four years' relevant full-time post-qualification working experience in waste reduction, recovery/recycling, waste facilities management or other related domains;
(c) met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note: “Grade C” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth);
(d) good English and Chinese writing skills, fluency in spoken English and Cantonese and proficiency in Putonghua; and
(e) knowledge of and experience in gathering information, networking and presentation
