• (a)To assist in the screening and preliminary assessment of all applications for the GTF;
• (b)To provide professional advice to the GTF Secretariat and Assessment Committee on the merit of the GTF applications and the potential of the proposed projections for practical application and commercialisation;
• (c)To provide advice on mechanism and the modus operandi for assessing the GTF applications; and
• (d)To provide professional advice on monitoring of project progress and the dissemination of the project results.

Applicants should have: –

• (a)Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers admitted on or after 5 December 1975, or equivalent;
• (b)a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent;
• (c)at least twenty years’ working experience in a senior executive position undertaking administrative responsibility, funding and project management, and liaison work preferably in the government or public bodies;
• (d)have ample knowledge and experience in environmental industry, technologies and polices, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste reduction and pollution control; and
• (e)good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
