職責
職位一: 為進出口科高級獸醫官(進出口) 提供行政支援。他/她主要工作:
(a) 協助聯繫大灣區的馬產業發展;
(b) 協助整理統計數據並編寫報告;起草文件並回覆收到的信件;保存維護存有各種記錄和庫存的檔案系統;
(c) 協助協調和整合會計及物料供應部門各種定期和臨時的回覆要求;
(d) 協助規劃和實施各種動物進出口項目;
(e) 協助開發“無紙化”記錄管理及業務規則提供行政支援;
(f) 協助準備年度預測、年度支出估算、資源分配工作投標及;
(g) 執行主管指定的任何其他職務。
職位二: 為高級農林督察(動物管理發展)提供行政支援。他/她主要工作:
(a) 設計和更新有關宣傳第169章擬定修訂內容的教育材料和網站資料;
(b) 協助上級翻譯有關妥善管理動物及動物福利的相關資料;
(c) 為在學校、幼稚園、及屋苑舉辦「動物福利及做個盡責任的寵物主人」講座、搜集資料及預備相關講座教材;
(d) 開發電子資源以促進小學和初中學生在動物護理和做個盡責任的寵物主人方面的電子學習提供行政支援;
(e) 協助處理教育及宣傳相關的投訴,以及;;
(f) 執行主管指派的任何其他職務。

Post (I): The position is responsible to the Senior Veterinary Officer (Import and Export) (SVO/IE) in supporting the operation of the Division.
He/she is mainly deployed on:
(a) assisting in communications with the development of the equine industry in the Greater Bay Area;
(b) assisting in collation of statistics and generation of reports; drafting documents and replies to incoming correspondence; maintaining a filing system for various kinds of records and inventories;
(c) assisting in coordinating and consolidating various regular and ad-hoc returns requested by Accounts and Supplies;
(d) providing assistance to the planning and implementation of various projects relating to animal imports and exports;
(e) assisting in providing administrative support on development of “paper-less” record management and business rules;
(f) assisting in preparing the annual forecast, annual estimates of expenditure, Resource Allocation Exercise bids and procurement exercises, and;
(g) performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Post (II): The position is responsible to the Senior Field Officer (Animal Management Development)1 (SAM/D1) in supporting the operation of the Division.
He/she is mainly deployed on:
(a) to design and update educational materials and website on promotion of Cap.169 amendment;
(b) to assist seniors in translating relevant materials in relation to animal control and welfare;
(c) to conduct seminars in schools, kindergartens and housing estates for members of the public on animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, do background research and prepare relevant seminar materials ;
(d) to provide administrative support in developing e-resources with a view to facilitating e-learning of animal care and responsible pet ownership for students at primary and junior secondary level;
(e) to assist in handling education and publicity related complaints; and
(f) performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

(d) have an excellent command of spoken English and Chinese and be proficient in both written English and Chinese;
(e) have good inter-personal, communication and analytical skills; be responsible and self-motivated;
(f) have good knowledge in computer applications in information management such as MS Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, or any other software.; and
(g) be able to work independently and under pressure.
