職責
(一) 管理研究資助局(研資局)研究資助計劃、學人及獎學金計劃的運作,包括研究配對補助金計劃和研究資助局(研資局)獎學金計劃,包括為評審小組舉行會議及相關活動提供行政支援,準備會議文件及報告,及在有需要時檢討工作程序及資助指引;
(二) 監察受資助的研究項目/獎學金,並定期向大學教育資助委員會(教資會)和研資局提交報告;
(三) 監察本地研究生學費豁免計劃的推行及處理與該等學生有關的事宜;
(四) 支援與香港以外的研究資助機構的研究合作;
(五) 監察諮詢並組織機構參觀、公眾參與和相關活動;
(六) 監督支援人員的工作及監督轄下組別的一般行政及人事事宜;以及
(七) 履行其他受指派的工作。

(a) To manage the operation of the Research Grants Council (RGC) research funding schemes, professorship and fellowship schemes, including providing executive support to selection panels for organising meetings and related events, preparing meeting documents and reports, and reviewing the work procedures and funding guidelines as and when required;
(b) To monitor the funded research projects/fellowships, and make regular reports to the University Grants Committee (UGC) and the RGC;
(c) To oversee implementation of the Tuition Waiver Scheme for Local Research Postgraduate Students and handle matters in relation to these students;
(d) To support research collaboration with research funding agencies outside of Hong Kong;
(e) To oversee consultation and organise institution visits, public engagement and related activities;
(f) To supervise the work of supporting staff, and to oversee the general administration and personnel matters of the team under his/her charge; and
(g) To perform other duties as assigned.

入職條件
(一) 持有本港頒授的學士學位,或同等學歷;
(二) 在取得學士學位後,有至少十二年全職擔任行政及/或管理職位的工作經驗,當中具備至少六年於政府的經驗,及須具備管理公共撥款計劃、研究行政或高等教育界別的工作經驗;
(三) 具備優良中、英語的會話及書寫能力。申請人須在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷[中文運用及英文運用]中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等成績[參閱註];
(四) 具領導能力、勤奮進取、有強烈的責任感及能獨立工作;
(五) 具優良的組織能力、管理、籌劃及分析技巧,並能於壓力下工作;以及
(六) 具備良好溝通能力及電腦運用知識。

(b) have a minimum of twelve years’ post-degree full-time working experience in executive and/or managerial positions, with at least six years in the Government, and with experience in management of public funding scheme, research administration or higher education sector;
(c) be proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English. The candidates should have met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” results in the two language papers of Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note];
(d) demonstrate proven leadership with proactive work attitude, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently;
(e) possess strong organisational power, supervisory, planning and analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure; and
(f) with exemplary communication skills and computer proficiency.
