The successful candidate will be responsible for –
(a)providing legal advice on land matters concerning the acquisition, disposal and letting of government properties;
(b)drafting, scrutinising and approving documents for land-related documents in the Agency including tender documents, licences, tenancy agreements, sale and purchase agreements and assignments, undertaking letters etc.; and
(c)undertaking other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
(a)be admitted as solicitors in a recognised jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance;
(b)have a minimum of 4 years’ relevant post-qualification professional experience in land or property conveyancing;
(c)have obtained Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and
(d)be fluent in English and Cantonese. Note: For non-civil service appointment purpose, ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE.
