(1)To undertake programming duties for the development of web-based application;
(2)To undertake/assist in system development and maintenance activities including analysis and design, system testing, user acceptance testing, data conversion, user training and production support of computer systems;
(3)To undertake/assist in the procurement for the acquisition, installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software;
(4)To assist in quality control on development and maintenance activities;
(5)To provide IT training to end users; and
(6)To assist in the evaluation of IT hardware, software and technologies.

(1)A Hong Kong bachelor degree or higher diploma in IT or computer studies, or equivalent;
(2)No post-qualification working experience is required but good academic result from the university or recognized public examination (including HKCEE and HKAL, or equivalent) is an advantage;
(3)A "Level 2" (Grade "E" before 2007) or above in both Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent;
(4)Good knowledge of Java/Web programming;
(5)Good oral/written communication skills in both Chinese and English and interpersonal skills; and
(6)Diligent, with initiative, good analytical and problem solving abilities.

(6)持有本港以外學府╱非香港考試及評核局頒授的學歷人士亦可申請，惟其學歷必須經過評審以確定是否與職位所要求的本地學歷水平相若。有關申請人須郵寄修業成績副本及證書副本到下列查詢地址。

(1)申請人須於2012年7月13日或之前，把填妥的申請表格(GF340（Rev.6/2012）)連同一份履歷和過去與現時工作職責的詳細說明，送達中環康樂廣場2號郵政總局大樓4樓香港郵政招聘組。
(2)申請表格可向民政事務總署各區民政事務處或勞工處各就業中心索取，亦可從公務員事務局的網站(http://www.csb.gov.hk)下載。
(3)申請人如未填妥申請表格，或未有夾附履歷和所需證明文件，其申請將不獲考慮。
(4)如在截止申請日期起計八個星期內仍未獲邀參加面試，即作落選論。
