- (a)協調工務╱工程╱建築性質的地區項目的推行；
- (b)為推行地區項目工程部分與工程承建商、民政事務總署的工程組及其他工程部門協調╱聯絡；
- (c)就推行地區項目與區議會、其他政府部門、商營機構和非牟利團體等聯絡；
- (d)在行政、財務、程序和合約管理事項上提出建議；
- (e)舉辦與地區項目相關的公共關係活動；
- (f)有需要時協助準備呈交立法會的文件和提交區議會的報告；及
- (g)在有需要時執行其他相關職務。
職責
- (a)Coordinating the overall implementation of the district projects of works/engineering/architectural nature;
- (b)Coordinating with the works agent, the Works Section of Home Affairs Department and other works department on the implementation of the works element of the district projects;
- (c)Liaising with District Councils, other government departments, business sector, non-profit making organizations (NPOs), etc. regarding the implementation of the district projects;
- (d)Advising on administrative, financial, procedural and contract management matters;
- (e)Organizing public relations activities concerning the district projects;
- (f)Providing assistance on the preparation of submissions to the Legislative Council and report to District Council as appropriate; and;
- (g)Undertaking any other administrative matters or other tasks as required.

- (a)持有香港任何一所大學所頒授的學士學位，或具同等學歷；及
- (b)符合語文能力要求
- (i)在香港中學文憑考試中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第3級或以上成績，或具同等成績；或
- (ii)在香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第3級或以上成績，或具同等成績
註：就聘任非公務員合約僱員而言，2007年前香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科(課程乙)「C級」的成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或以後香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科「第3級」的成績] ；及
(c)在策劃╱土木工程╱建築╱項目設計╱工程項目╱建造管理╱顧問研究協議╱工程合約方面，或就工務╱工程╱建築項目方面，具備良好知識；及
(d)在取得學位後，至少有五年在公共行政、合約管理或工程項目管理╱策劃方面擔任管理職位的工作經驗
[註：獲取錄者如具有十年或以上相關的工作經驗，其入職月薪將適當調節至高於55,850元] ；及
(e)策劃和項目管理技巧；及
(f)具有良好的溝通和社交技巧，能與不同的非政府機構、社區團體和公眾人士合作；及
(g)對公共資助╱撥款計劃的運作及公營機構在採購和招標方面有認識，以及在監察社區計劃╱活動方面具經驗者獲優先考慮。
Candidates should have -
- (a)a bachelor degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; and
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of
- (i)Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent; or
- (ii)Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (for the purpose of appointment of non-civil service contract staff, ‘Grade C’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth); and
- (c)knowledge and expertise in the field of planning / civil engineering / architecture / project design / works project / construction management / consultancy agreement / works contract, or management of works / engineering / architectural projects; and
- (d)at least 5 years’ post-qualification working experience in management position in the field of public administration, contract management or works project management / planning (Candidates with 10 years’ or above relevant working experience, if selected, will be offered a salary at an appropriate level higher than $55,850 per month.); and
- (e)planning and project management skills; and
- (f)communication and interpersonal skills in interface with a wide spectrum of non-governmental and local community organizations and the public; and
- (g)knowledge of operations of public funding schemes, procurement and tendering in the public sector, and experience in monitoring community projects / programmes is an advantage.
