草擬雙語法例；向政府政策局及部門提供相關的法律意見；出席內部及外部會議及回答與法例有關的問題；協助準備在立法程序中所需的文件；及執行其他指派職務。
職責
To draft legislation in both Chinese and English, to provide incidental legal advisory service to the Government Secretariat and various departments, to attend internal and external meetings and answer questions on legislation, to assist in the preparation of various papers required in the legislative process, to perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
入職條件
申請人須
- (a)
- (i)在《律政人員條例》第2A條及附表2所規定的認可司法管轄區內取得律師資格；或
- (ii)在《律政人員條例》第2A條及附表2所規定的認可司法管轄區內取得大律師資格和全面執業權後，具備最少1年專業經驗；以及
- (b)在香港中學會考或香港中學文憑試英國語文科及中國語文科成績達第2等級或以上，或具同等學歷（註：政府在聘任非公務員合約員工時，過往香港中學會考英國語文科(課程乙）和中國語文科E級的成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或以後的香港中學會考英國語文科和中國語文科第2等級的成績)。
Candidate should
- (a)
- (i)be admitted as solicitors in a recognised jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance or
- (ii)be barristers with one year’s professional experience since attaining the right to full practice in a recognised jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance; and
- (b)have attained Level 2 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or equivalent
(Note: For non-civil service appointment purpose, ‘Grade E’ in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in English Language and Chinese Language in the 2007 HKCEE or thereafter).

- (d)有全面執業權，但不具備在取得全面執業權後的一年專業經驗的大律師亦可申請。如獲取錄，入職月薪為每月$51,825。
