• (a)to conduct research and analysis on housing and transport-related issues, including liaison with government departments, local/overseas universities, think tanks and research organizations;
• (b)to draft briefs, think pieces, articles, speeches and reports;
• (c)to help organise meetings, seminars and conferences with stakeholders; and
• (d)to perform other duties as required by the Bureau.

Candidates should :-

• (a)have a bachelor or master degree, preferably in the social sciences, from a local or overseas university, or equivalent; and a minimum of 5 years (for bachelor degree holders) or 3 years (for master degree holders) of full-time post-qualification working experience in research, journalism or public affairs;
• (b)have level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or Grade C or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007, or equivalent;
• (c)have a proven track record in policy research outputs and research networking relevant to the job nature; a record of having received structured training in research methodologies and statistics will be an advantage;
• (d)have strong interest in public policy research, especially in housing- and/or transport -related fields;
• (e)have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• (f)have good communication, organisational and presentation skills; and
• (g)be self-motivated, mature and able to work independently.
